Yeah, it was sarcasm. I made a post and got the whole LFG speech about how it's because I didn't clean my system and etc... Everything was clean and I told him this, but it was only me and one other person, so obviously it is my fault. I mean, he doesn't get them, so nobody else can. Then the post with the Waambulance and etc.

I just wanted to cut to the chase with how you are treated for posting anything about this stuff. Because we are at fault and just whining.

So, just STFU already you whiny cunts.

XML_HACK.AO

This is a quick time exploit, if your PC uses Itunes your computer has quick time installed. to avoid this vulnerability look in your program menu and launch apple softwear updater and it will apply the patch to fix this.

well i have spent 4 days trying to get the adware and whatnot off my computer but i cannot get rid of the one that redirects me whnever i click a link. and yes before you budasses ask if i used everything I HAVE!!. used spybot, adaware, bullgaurd, AVG, trend micro, and even cleared out MSCONFIG and self deleted some files. but no matter what i do it's always there. i have never had trouble till now so you could imagine i am pretty fucking pissed off that i can't even use my internet because i can't get to where i wanna go. i don't wanna have to reformat just because someone couldn't make a site that doesn't invade my privacy. so again thanx LFG for making me the most agrivated i have been in months.

Yeah, because LFG is the one that put the shit on your pc. Also, he for sure knew that the ads were fucked up and that's why he got them on the site.

One of the things I was able to do here at Fan Faire was meet and talk to most of the community managers at the other major fan sites, during the Summit forum.

One of the community managers from a major multi-game site told me they have a person who's only full time job is to find, trace and eliminate ads that attempt to install malware on user computers.

As I've stated, I've done thousands of page refreshes since we changed to this latest ad agency, and have not had the problem you describe, which I believe was caused by our previous ad agency.

I'm merging this post with the existing post in this section on this same issue.
