Involuntary Restoration - Bug?
Interresting, I was testing + to healing because of Lumpy's post on MoC... so started looking at Involentary Restoration. The heal amount did not change... but I did notice something odd. The proc % chance is weapon dependent.
Staff off Tunare: 5.4 times per minute (tpm)
Woushi hammer: 5.9tpm
Vrasakin claw club: 6.3
No weapon: 7.2 tpm
Princes hammer: 7.9
Hammer of the Pureblood: 7.9
It took me a while to figure out the relationship, but it is obvious the trigger chance is delay based. The higher your weapon delay, the lower you proc chance will read. If you cast it on a mob, it will always read the proc chance depending on the weapon you had out when the effect went on.
I am just wondering if really the game uses the mobs delay when figuring the proc chance. This game handles modifications to heal amounts/ trigger chances/ damage amounts when it comes to spell descriptions so poorly it is hard to tell what the spell is actually doing unless you look through a parse.
A good example of this is when claymore or the wrist item from TNT procs... the heal amount on the buff will stay at the high amount, but the actual heal values are back to base when the effect is canceled.
A bit off topic-- so...
Really I just wanted to post that I found it odd the tigger chance in the description changed based on your weapon delay.
