Why would u post parse that u used stake? that doesnt show other ppl ( templars ) what templar can do or what templar should be doing as dps at all ..and i dont think stake made only 460 dps( cuz stake hits like 140k-180k ) .. if it did it would make fight like 5mins = 16k raid dps .. and i hope it wasnt that low

If not, then why are you posting again? You are a bit off topic and simply just trying to argue a point that is not about the topic at hand.

The fact is, Healers should use ALL of their tools.. just like any other player on the raid.

I thought I stated just how others would mock the raid DPS... and I was right. I can't believe I actually posted on these forums... I should have known someone would want to do exactly what you are doing.

Here is all the numbers.. just so we are straight on them.

Raid DPS = 19,802

Stake DPS = 555 dps

Templar DPS = 3367

Templar DPS w/o Stake = 2812

Sorry that I so quickly glanced at the old parse and did my math in my head without getting the numbers exactly right the first time, but I guess those numbers were not what I was trying to convey... What I was trying to convey was that healers should DPS if and when able.


So yeah.. go ahead and mock the raid DPS.. or laugh at our inability to match other raiding guilds.. however, since this particular killing we have improved greatly... and I am quite happy with where we stand. Especially after getting our Soulfires... now our raid dps on Viswin hangs around 26-28k on him... yeah I know.. still not as great as the Ubers.. but hell at least we are having fun in a low stress environment and we still clear the zone .

I guess I just should have realized before I posted here that no matter what anyone posts... there wil always be someone there to be a jackass about it.

By the way.. it does show what a Templar is capable of... because a templar did this. The templar didnt bend any rules and didnt find any exploits to achieve this. The fact is.. if you want to win and win convincingly... then you should go all out with no holds barred.

Sorry but I give 100%... and if that means using miracles and a stake.. then I do it. Even if it is on Viswin alone... especially when I can remember when Viswin kicked our ass on a regular basis for a while. So go ahead and "heal only" and justify those healers who do so... but the healers on my raids will do damage and they know I expect it from them.

I'm more concerned about curing/healing/debuffing than my dps personally, if that makes me a lazy bad templar.. /shrug
