Last night I finally hit 70 in MMIS. Yeah I was 10% from ding when we were doing are Sunday fun kos raids and we decided to do MMIS bc are lockout expired and we were bored. I know I said I would do it faster but circumstances beyond my control kept me from playing other than raiding.

Luckily I had a Templar to use on EOF raids while I was lvling mine so the guild didn't suffer. It also provided me with the opportunity to acquire some gear along the way so when I hit 70 I wasn't complete under geared.

But as many of you know getting a new toon into raiding mean you will become low on DKP fast. I was hoping to get a few tips on some gear that I can acquire from quests or from heroic zones that are near raid quality while I build my dkp up.

As of now I have:

I plan on Starting MOA and SOD as soon as posible. I might even do claymore if I find time. Is their any other gear you can suggest?

Collection jewelery is always nice for resists, not bad stats either. Blood vials = belt, vampire slayer tools = bracelet I believe, and the werewolf fang collection gives you a nice earring.

pris 2.0 gives a nice weapon for power regen. MOA gives a nice necklace. Pretty much SOL for armor, pretty much every good piece comes from raiding except for EOF legendary stuff.

Claymore will give you a ranged slot item and a charm item thats hard to beat. Quest for the ring of the 4 winds gives you a nice ring and a charm item.

So far it looks like you are doing pretty well gear wise, until you get your full set I suggest using Plate Helm of The Ether, it has a nice heal proc, the zone it drops from in the Barren Sky slips my mind at the moment. It is trade able so it might be on the market for a couple plat.
You may want to do the Orb signature quest line, you can get it done in a day or so with a small group.
