Default Agility AA

I am currently specced Agility / Stamina, but I am really curious how many of you that took the Agility line, speced down the Intelligence line instead.

I am trying to weigh the differences between heal crits or faster casting speeds. I see the benefit of the Crits, but my concern is if the spell doesn't land in time, then the crit really doesn't matter.

Any thoughts on this?

IMO, INT line is better than STA. The casting speed makes a difference because if you need to cast a group or single target reactive, the faster you can reapply it the better. Since you could easily make a convincing argument for either heal crits or casting speed, we'll call them equal for now.

Where INT line shines is that you also get spell crits and Divine Recovery. DR is a very underestimated ability that people I've played with don't use enough. The ability is flat out amazing.

28% Spell crits is also comparable to 100% melee crits because in a lot of difficult encounters, it is impractical to melee since you need to be at max heal range and templar spells do decent damage.

If you're just concerned about your healing capacity, I'd say it's personal preference. Some people would prefer the casting speed and others would prefer the heal crits.

Divine Recovery is an awesome spell. However if you want to keep your current spec you can always use the legendary class set to get your casting speed increase. If I remember correctly, INT line speeds casting by 14% or so vs. the class set 33%. Without looking at your gear I don't know if this is viable for you or not. Just a thought.

The 33% set losses its value when you get 3 fabled set bonus. Having to reapply your reactives less and having the same number of procs is so priceless. It conserves power on long fights and alows for more dps and less healing on short fights.

Only have the shoulders of the Fabled set so far, just haven't had the luck yet. Most of my gear is plus to healing in some way whether its adornments or the actual piece. I'm also adorned and speced to maximize the shield ally ability so I am lacking the last 2 points for DR.

I respeced to Int this morning so I'm going to see if there is a difference when we go to EH tonight.

QFE, this is exactly why I use and love agi/int lines, divine recovery is an awesome ability when used effectively.

I think int is the best too, but ive been playing around with str/agi/sta might try wis in some fth/is raids! But none of them seem to be the clear winner. Str makes you half as likely to be stifled and gives you 8% more hp, agi is pretty bad line except the end allows someone in your group 30sec aoe avoid every 2 min. sta i think is the standard templar line heal and melee crit. I cant wait until kunark when i dont have to make such a specific desision!
