With the extra AA's, I decided to grab the shield ally line as a MT templar.

Spec'd as such

AGI 4-4-8-8
STA 4-4-4-8
INT 4-4-7-8-1

I never used the line during EoF and the best shield I have is the buckler of Az'kal off of Matron currently. I know the shield of rainbow hues out of Shard of Fear is a templar useable roundshield with pretty gaudy protection numbers, I was just wondering if any new bucklers/templar usable round's have been found in the expansion that I might want to go for before farming Shard for this one. Thanks all.

Apparently theres a 900 protect one that apparently drops in Chardok, but since chardok has been inaccessible on Splitpaw for 3 days now I couldnt even get a group to go check!

Roundshield>buckler for the agility line doesn't matter where it comes from. Aditu explained it somewhere before

I did? I guess it's impossible for a buckler to have more protection than a round shield... but I shouldn't have to explain that.

Maybe it was that avoidance follows a curve and 1/2 the protection is not worth 1/2 the avoidance. You can in fact find shields that are worth 0.0% blocking verses your level. Not near your level of course, but it illustrates how sharply the curve drops... or perhaps the starting point of the curve is not zero protection for a L70/80.
