Can anyone confirm that the arcane ward blocks mana sacrafice on Venrils? I didn't get to test it thuroughly because I only got hit with it once during he raid.

It should block the magical drain portion but the expanded power consumption portion it does not (which is usually the real culprit to failures).

Well from my screen it takes 3.8% power every 3 secs for 15 secs 19% power which is hge when trying to stay in range.

Remember that even percentage spells can be mitigated by the proper type (which is why a 100% nuke won't bring you to zero). Even so, that still seems like an amount to be concerned about.

While it is a nice that it can absorb some of the power drain it does not prevent it but you have to have it on before it hits >.< ya never know when or if you will get it.
