ok so I wasnt asking you then if thats all you have to say.
this is an AA post about an AA line I was interested in via its usefulness in raiding so I posted here instead of reading 30 pages of 'aa lines for rok' about setups that dont all include shield ally and arent all for mt group raiding
as well I did see that several people in the aa respec since RoK page seem to think loosing steadfast is what works, I personally don't think that makes much sense for raiding, and wanted to see how people had done throwing heal crits out instead or if that was a bad idea~

IMO steadfast is worthless unless you solo all the time and possiably pawbuster and avatars. All the other times you are better off staying agil, stam, intel spec.

Yeah Steadfast works for Pawbuster. I have Steadfast on my DPS/Solo spec, I switch to it everytime we run through ETR.

Ok I have a stupid question. Templars do not have the "parry" ability. How do these +parry items help those getting SA, if we do not posses the ability?

Some parry items (like the adors) are % parry, not + skill. The % ones work regardless of your base parry skill, or whether you even HAVE base parry.

Thank you. Makes more sense now from what I have read about the ability and the adornments you have been talking about.

Has anyone tried the new neckpiece that came out recently with GU43? It adds 2% to riposte for frontal and parry from all other quadrants. It seems like it should also work with SA, but i'm not sure. Can't find anyone with the recipe yet, but folks have been linking it in channels all day.

Looks like it should work. Pretty easy to test as well. We don't have any other way of causing a riposte.
