Default Re: Divine Arbitration

It has a few very good advantages

1) It's Zone-Wide. Especially in pvp (as you're on naggy) this can be a very nasty surprise to people attacking your spread-out group-mates. In some fights (eg Silverwing) where you may be forced away from your group mates, this can also help.

2) It's HP based (and not % based). If a clothy is dropping low, you can get him almost to full at little cost to the rest of the group. Yay Lifeburn.

3) It's short cast time and doesn't require you to switch targets to the appropriate person - it's a great clutch spell.

The cost, HP from the rest of the group, is minor - since they're not getting hit, are unlikely to die, and will be healed back up to full from procs shortly anyway.

On the whole, it's a good spell.

I thought I'd add a point or two. There seems to be a very noticable difference between Adept 3 and Master 1 of this spell. I could barely use it at Adept 3 because it would bring a raid buffed tank to maybe 30-40% health. I was shocked the first time I used the Master version as I swear it's over 50% now. I could easily be crazy to see such a drastic difference. But if you're using it at Adept 3 and don't like it... don't pass up the Master to try out.

Don't use it when someone is zoning it has the nasty habit of owning your whole group.

I use it whenever there is one person in the red and everyone else is in the green. The zonewide part is pretty useful for train situations.

I put it on me "Oh shit" bar of spells, but I never thought to use it for lifeburn. Good call on that.

For me I like all the above reasons AND you can cast it while moving.

It is simply my Oh Shit button. Tank Caster whomever that is worth saving an risking the others HP dropping.

I just wish it had a shorter recast time, or even AA to reduce its recast.

That would be sweet. Some Templars don't use this ability at all, I guess. Not sure why.

because the description of it sounds horribly detrimental to the MT, it's not terribly clear

i did use it once just standing around waiting for raid, to see what it did, and yup, we all had about the same health, which seemed horribly detrimental to the MT

what i didn't understand was, it will equalize current health, not total hit points, which is cool, cause yea, it's an 'oh shit' spell

i've always been a druid, for like, forever, fury on pve, warden on pvp, and the switch to templar is difficult they're SO SLOWWWWW, drives me nutso,

any other tips would be greatly appreciated.

thanx a bunch!
