I think it was obvious that SOE was making factions play a larger role in eq2 this expansion. I would rather grind faction than search norrath gathering statues (which will still happen). Faction was a great way for SOE to make 24 unique quests. Having different alighnments/classes go to different faction and progress from zone to zone. It also should alow for a bit more interesting quests.

I am looking foward to a dificult quest that requires thought. Grinding to 80 was boring it was go here and kill xxxxxx. Rinse and repeat. Hopefully the epics require more thought than that. I hope when I finish my Epic all i can think is "It was worth it but i will never do that for a alt."

I don't mind a long ass difficult questline like the claymore or longer but grinding thousands of mobs to get faction with different people does not make it epic. Being a templar makes it even worse and I refuse to do it since they forced me to solo to 80 already.

BTW....anybody else annoyed about how crappy the templar epic looks like?

I was going wow all the way down the screenshots (especially the Inquis one) and I got to the templar one and was like WTF...couldn't they come up with something better than that? Must have been the same designer that made our condom helms in KoS.

Which one are you assuming is the templar one? There are only 12 concept arts drawn here and best I can tell only 2 of them are crushing. The twisted looking club at the top I'm not sure who gets that one, but I remember seeing the club at the bottom posted elsewhere as the concept art for the inquisitor.

Hate to say it, but I'm kinda dissapointed with the graphic myself as well. The back of the hammer looks alot like our, as Kizee put it, condom helms.
