I find that most the folks who are dissapointed with how EASY this quest is are part of a usual raid force. So for them taking on challenging group content is not tough at all, but for the people that aren't raiders you are fighting some pretty tough stuff.

Now, as for the mythical portion of this quest, I can't speak about that since I'm not actually done with the fabled part yet. But I know that some people have said that that part of the quest isn't that difficult either for a raid guild.
Its more that that. We only needed to fight heroics in one zone sebilis. The rest were using a item on a npc. KC I trained and Holeinabox rezzd me by the NPC we needed. Chardock If you can't find a good group follow one. Helll make a x4 raid and fight down if you want it makes no difference. I played a DPS toon while our other templar healed and then Call of the tinkered to him.

Sebilis you needed a good group befor the nerf. With a good group We were able to pull rooms of the frogs AOE them down and get my updates fast. But single pulling and and burning wouldn't have been that much slower.and the spawnable named wasn't hard compared to other classes nameds.

I was hoping this quest made me learn the heroic content and with it every inch of every zone. As a matter of fact I think It would have been easier to get good groups if it wasn't 1 or 2 updates per heroic zone. It would have forced players to work together and group together on a more frequent basis. Every night the same group going to seb learning the zone and getting updates rather than 1 hour here 1 hour their.

People hated Claymore but I loved it. I didn't complete SOD bc I just swiched mains and got the hammer of the pure blood soon after. Claymore has 25 stemps ranging from easy to dificult (22 non raiding not includidng AOA a easy x2). You didn't get a heroic version but you gained gear that was very good for non raiders and even some that was beter than raiding gear (Tank belt). SOD only had 6 but in those 6 you had a quests that requiered you to explore mistmore castle (hardest heroic zone of its time). harvest 10 pages and kill 9 nameds mad this quest alot more interesting..

Default Re: Templar Epic Quest

The more I think about it, the more I do agree in some respects that compared to some of the other epics, this one is a bit lacking. Rode along for a few attempts (one successful) on pirate Jones...that was interesting and a challenge.

I'm among the crowd that wasn't really impressed by our epic. So for our reward I think we were challenged ample. If the proc worked off of all spells i think I'd be happy with it. In fact, I'd probably use it for solo and raid, but as is, I'd be even more pissed if i had to do anything more to get that reward. I'm sure I'll find a place to use it, but as of right now, I'm somewhat skeptical.

So in essence, I agree with you that perhaps these quests (most of them really), should have been a bit more, I don't know, epic. With the way most the rewards are though, I think the quests are about right for the rewards.

PS: Claymore, I loved! I'll do that again with every toon i make!
