Basically when you enter the zone ( think of it as Temple of Korsha) you have to go to the two Rooms upstairs to collect 3 books.
Turn them in at the Bookcollector deeper down.
P.S. : Bring a mezzer and or someone able to train stuff as the mobs are pretty tough.

good thing I don't spend hours on these quests until I have some idea where they're leading. Finding this lake would have been a bit difficult

It was posted here because many of the EQ2 epic quests harken back to the EQlive quests.

Possibly on last step. Gotta find a record of the death of the dudes brother who sends you out to do those three things. Guessing its somewhere deep deep in Seb.

My guess?

He was slain trying to defeat Venril.

Either near Venril's Phylactery
or near Vs'sL (Kot'iz the Deathbringer?)

OR (Keep in mind, Venril was originally in Howling Stones), Maidens or Vaults are possibilities. Maiden's being the more likley - there's still a Sathirian there (Drusilla)

My walkthrew so far... gonna post it noobwise as u can get very confused at times..

1. Sick lady in tent at TG near mailbox.
2. harvest 6 flowers near KC (closer to the lake) and return
3. Make the recepie and return again.
4. Go to Gfay, Kelthin. (loc 420, 136, 258) and get update
5. Go to Maj Duhl. just to ur right as u enter the doors....(npc at the tower)
6. Go to Sinking Sands, Skeletal cobras near the Undercity Arena.
Loc: -357, -90, -432.. ONLY spawns after 7.30 pm Norrath Time..
7, Go to Barren Sky, Whisperwind Island. Hooluk camp. Talk to Silverbeak
(requires the language quest completed "Wods of feather") this step costs 4 plat.
8........ This is where I am now.... Mucus?? need a bit of help...

Venril used to be in KARNORS (The portrait confused me)

Might be worth digging around there.
