Re: Templar Epic Reward (X4)
While I agree to some degree, we're jumping to conclusions.
%parry, %deflect (according to Korno) = Awesome. Both will help the tank AND shield ally. Depends how much it is, of course.
Glory is fairly weak, hence my /sigh, but it's better than having nothing to put in you concentration slot. Is it being affected by the 5 set bonus? (I hope so). By the quality of the spell? (Adept III vs Master?) (I also hope so)
What is the recast on the reactive damage/damage reduced? I'm still not sure from your explanation - is it 50% of the 8%? 50% of the 92%? or 50% of 100%? It can be read all three ways, and your explanation doesn't help.
I, for one, will never object to more casting speed until I am capped. 20% from epic, 14.4% from Int, 15.7 (?) from Monk, 8% Allegro. =58%. 10% from SoF robe. =68%. Far cry from 100%, even if your epic proc is up at all times. Can save a few AA from your nuke cast times and put them into glory, (/sigh), as they will be >100, but that's not big deal.
The +heal amount is not a problem with the epic, it's a problem with the cap on reactives with no good reason for it. Since it's not justifiable, we should hope the cap will be changed. And as I'm nearing 100% Heal crit, at least my +heal cap is 30% higher than the base... still bloody low, but it's a start.
I like 8 heal crit and cast speed (and stun immunity! pvp) and the rest has potential. I'll not complain untill I've had a chance to explore that potential.

Re: Templar Epic Reward (X4)
Meh.... i need to learn how to read.
Thanks Krono...
I still think that a stoneskin clicky would have been better than our clicky.
I am assuming that ours is 3 minute recast like the warden one?

Re: Templar Epic Reward (X4)
Aye for the warden, what exactly would you have them improve that is a part of templar already? add more to our own lvl 59 Unyielding Benediction? Or were you hoping to get something altogether new to go on that hammer. I see a lot of great deffesive effects as well as an added group effects that will be fully taken for granted by me at least. TBH i made this toon for deffense and am happy it is getting back to it instead of trying to output more dps.
Also how and why would you want a 12% chance to proc modifyable? 12% isnt enough? good lord that thing will be going off nonstop! and yeah, im HAPPY about the casting speed increase it gives, im specced to increase my casting speed ..to have that even faster would be heaven to me.
So pretty much what im guessing your jealous of is the wardens power proc
seriously in a high end guild in mt group how often are you running out of power? Especialy if you are in a guild that can get shit dead in a fairly short period of time (Snarq) I've seen your raids! PLS ..yes, the Warden epic is HAWT for them, but i seriously think that the Templars is HAWT for Templars
of course tho, thats just MHO.

Not really jealous of the power proc but it would free up a couple of my slots for heal crit gear.
Stun immune and casting speed is nice I guess.
Since Krono said that the defensive abiltities effect shield ally and the tank then thats pretty cool.
I guess the only 2 things I have a beef with are the + to heals and our clicky effect. It would have been great to get more critheal instead of the + to heal and maybe the wardens clicky. Maybe the damage reduction we got adds up to be better than the 3 hit stoneskin... /shrug (I'm not a number cruncher.) I guess I will have to wait and see.
Also, It would be nice if our blessing effected the epics.

Re: Templar Epic Reward (X4)
casting speed is really all that weapon gives is what I was saying, other than the raw 8% heal crits and generally great stats and damage.
The effects are very disappointing and could have been better.

Re: Templar Epic Reward (X4)
Yeah I would have to agree with Snark... for the effects, the casting speed was the only thing that caught my eye. The stats and damage are great though.

Re: Templar Epic Reward (X4)
Hrmmmmm
I was looking at the warden epic again and another fury in my guild pointed out that the 3 hits was indented under the damage part of the proc and not the stoneskin part.
I know these are sometimes worded fucked up but could it be that instead of 3 hit stoneskin they have a 12 sec 100% stoneskin with 3 triggers of a damage component?
If thats the case then we got totally bent over.

Re: Templar Epic Reward (X4)
Of course. Glory has always been an extremely poor spell, with very few uses - but now the dirge will HAVE Aego anyways.
Through this epic change we gain...
A) An aego for the whole group (Useful, but not brilliant)
B) Said aego is buffed (With %parry/deflect!, Krono says) (Quite good)
C) You gain two Glories, which, while weak, is still a slight gain. (Weak)
As a package, that's not half bad.
