As posted there....

Obviously quite a few variables;

A) Is the additional benefit a +to skills equivalent to that already on aegolism. (15.4 adept III focused?) Or will it (omg) be a % parry, % deflect
B) Will Aegolism stack with itself? If not... we're going to start using combat glory (/sigh).
C) Is "50% of the reduced damage" 50% of the 8% absorbed? Or 50% of the 92% remaining? Or 50% of the original 100% damage.

But on the whole... the epic makes me very excited. Only Hoshkar left to kill!

Personally I find the epic a little disappointing. Group wide Aegolism isn't very meaningful on most encounters, since all that really matters is that you have it on the tank, and thats not going to change. The added parry/blahblah isn't going to do much against high orange mobs (unless its % which I doubt). The haste is the only interesting addition to aegolism however with raidwide CoB and monk haste I just dont see the haste making that much of a difference when you get that high.

Basically its going to be glory spam for the group with our concentration. There is no way Aegolism will stack with itself. This is dumb because glory sucks ass, as any good templar knows.

The stun immunity is nice, but again limited in usability. There has yet to be a fight where long duration stuns mean shit in this expansion.

And the damage reduction and reflect (which seems to be like a 4% reflect) seems pretty lame. It's just not going to add up to any real DPS if this is the case with how it works.

Anyways, all in all our epic is fairly weak. I am definitely not that excited for it. I was hoping for a raidwide buff like some other classes recieved.

I am interested in whether or not the Aegolism set bonus will affect the group buff.

on further thought, I wish they would have made the activateable a conc buff you can put on other people. because fuck activateables, and fuck glory. that is all.

well peronaly i think the hammer is prity beast group hp buff is pro and as for glory it is not not usless lol

anyways they need to fix the aegolism group buff its range atm is just dumb its not even max healing range and needs to b changed in line with our normal group buffs

and for your answrs
a. it is a % parry and % deflect etc
b. no you cant stack hp buff
c. and it is 50% of the reduced dmg

I wasn't overly impressed with it either since I have seen some other classes mythical weapons.

I have a couple issues besides what was mentioned above:

1.) Why the hell give us more +healing? We are already capped with a couple of the RoK items....we dont need anymore.

2.) Whats this cannot be modified except by direct means crap? Does that mean our blessing won't effect it? If it won't then how many more of these items will be coming down the pipe to make our blessing line useless?

Overall I was hoping for something very very nice since the graphic is less than desirable. /disapointed

Do we know yet if the VP set bonus increasing the effectiveness of Aegolism will spill over to the mythical version?

3 minute recast 3 hit stoneskin with damage component, awsome power proc, and a increase in thier HOT heals.

IDK but I think that is better than ours.

[edit] unless those new defensive abiltites on templar epic make shield ally better. I have a feeling that they will be just + to abiltities and not %
