EoF Endine AAs:
I've played around with overconfidence - which has it's uses (Nexona adds porting to mt group, etc), but a few severe limitations have come up
1) Triggers when mob AEs (any attack), so can't reliably be used on mobs to prevent mem-whipe etc.
2) It's short ranged - so it's social-aggro effects are somewhat limited where they might be useful (VP!)
3) Only up half the time (at best)... so as a preventative measure, somewhat weak.
4) Awestruck, E:Soothe and Sign are worthless to a raiding cleric.
5) It requires the target to be hit... which in the case of trying to save clothies etc w/most raid mobs = dangerous :P.
So I decided to experiment with mana cure - which basically used to be entirely worthless - as there are no AEs you could afford to leave uncured for a few seconds that were worth curing in EoF. However, in RoK reactive stuns/stifles/fears are more frequent...
1) It does work.
2) It only works on specific sub-types of damage (Disease casts won't cure Poison debuffs, and vice versa)
3) Proc rate is much higher than I thought. Seems to be roughly 25%
4) Entirely unsure about the range limitations (if any) on either the mana cure target OR the group cure itself
5) All the E:cure aa's are pretty damn worthless.

Re: EoF Endine AAs:
Do you fight avatars? You will need Mana Cure. E.g. Valor back in T7, i never really cured the shit, I nuked it off. EZ mode w/ Mana Cure. And in T8 all kinds of impairments will hit you in no time and can't be all cured w/ grpcures unless you will take like 4-5 healers into MT grp.
Nowadays with AA mirrors you can easily have your two setups for the different mobs you're gonna fight.

You didn't need mana cure to do t7 avatars.....if you need it for t8 has yet to be determined.
I personally think it is a waste of points for a random chance that it will cure group. Alot of the impairments you can't wait around to cure....they need to come off asap.

Thanks again Istaril! I have been told you want manacures on a coerser in general. Is that right or should it be on a diffrent class?

Re: EoF Endine AAs:
Coercers cast entirely Mental spells (might be there's 1/2 magic ones in there) so they make ideal targets for mana cure if you're attempting to cure a mental effect - like Blanket of Eternal Night.

Re: EoF Endine AAs:
Alfi did you honestly just endorse using a proc to cure your group instead of your built in guaranteed cure cures for avatar fights?

Depends on the encounter/circumstances.

It wasn't needed, but it certainly helped on a few, when most guilds dropped to a duo healer MT group.

Re: EoF Endine AAs:
I started out as an inquisitor and betrayed when I hit 80 after a few raids. When I first looked at the templar AA's i thought manacure would be an awesome ability. Which it can be, however I think that it is unfortunate how you have to spend a lot of AA's to get it, and the only ability worth getting in that line is basically E:Sanctuary.

Everybody seems to hate the cure AA's.
I maxed them because what else am I going to spend the AA points on? With all the curing we have to do...a free 325 x2 heal isn't anything to scoff at. Could it be better.....yeah....but its not THAT bad.
