I wonder if these facing requirements are true of all avoidance checks placed on another.

(Fighters, for instance)

I have to imagine that the fighter buffs mirror ours in most ways except that ours stack. Although, theirs might have a better range than 20 meters if that's what ours is restricted to. I was watching a monk avoid for our MT on Druushk. He was probably at least 30 meters away at most times, thus he never beat me in avoiding for the tank... but at least deflect and parry work 360º, so while fighting adds semi-close by, he could still help effectively.

Don't think it was ever bugged to 10 m.

And I haven't checked since about a week after my Original Post to confirm ranges - I've just sat at 19 instead of 20 and if that meant the occasional close bracket AE on Druushk if positioning wasn't cooperating, well... I have the HP to survive.

i am pretty shocked, why my personal avoid doenst work.

just getting about 38% solo avoid. Other templars are doing the same at my server.... adorning whrist with parry.....

i hope it will get fixed..

From an RP perspective, shield ally sounds like you're going to sheild the target, not a buff that uses all of your avoidance on the target.
