overloaded > Replenishing

At least the Replenishing Heal Wrist that I have is actually a power proc for the group. Overloaded heals is a group heal.

The effect of the replenishing heal is not great imo... the proc shows up in my benefits window often enough and it does make some difference but as far as power regen the collection belt and even the soul siphon proc (at least for sef) seem superior. In addition, if overloaded heals procs once... everyone in group gets the heal. In contrast replenishing heal will proc on only the target of the heal. In the setting of a group heal/ reactive, each member of the group will have an independant chance of proc'ing the mana regen effect. (will see 5 procs one time.. next time 1 proc etc)

I'm only wearing the wrist still cause I was planning on replacing it with the Gift... 40+ runs now and I still haven't seen it. I'm going after the quest wrist with overloaded heals in KJ now (in my noobness I had missed it)

I don't have any raid parses handy... but from a maidens run last night that was still loaded in ACT overloaded heals accounted for 7% of my outgoing heals (with one piece on). I believe more than one piece of overloaded has a additive effect.

Apart from the OP's question being silly, I wonder exactly how much power Repleneshing Heal really bestows to the group. Sure, the blue shiny belt gives the entire group power, but the numbers on RH are much higher (total of 250 power) over the belt (100 power).

It's quite annoying that SOE won't log the amount of power restored. It logs such loads of hairy bollox, but information that would really matter toward further gear choices? Nada.

And so, without definite hard numbers, I am using both the Wastes Hunter earring and the Inexorable Bangle if I dont have a regen class in group, and spam group heals all the time, hoping it makes a change.

You may find that overloaded heal comes in handy when the group member you want to heal is not in range of your group heals. Overloaded heal is a zone wide proc. Just might come in handy at some point.................

Because a heal by 300 hitpoints will save somebody with mobs on them... ? Rather not. Might heal a wizard a bit who has rooted an add.... Not a real reason to equip or not equip stuff.

With one, or potentially 2 healers in a group, wearing 2 or even 3+ overloaded heal items each, this can make all the difference in certain fights... For example to the distant statue clickers on Druushk, who over the course of the fight will take enough damage to kill them from the ZW ae - thus wiping the entire raid because they are not alive to click the statue.

after a bit of research with my own items and our guild mystic who swears by the oh items we found on the parse of one raid his items procced 252 times. healing for 20% of his heals. now i think he has like 4 items atm.

I atm had one oh item the cloak...and on same raid ..same grp...only had 102 procs for 6% of my heals. ( btw were in the mt grp and on t8 mobs..think the zone was korsha )

not sure if this will help u guys but after those number i did acquire a cpl more items and it seems to balance out and save power to a certain extent.

depending on the fights and group situations, overloaded/empowered heals > life...... Ive seen fights where group heal procs are 60% of my heals...... and no im not healing for like 3k, in those fights ive healed for 700,000 to 1,000,000+. Usually, they are only 25%-30% of heals in a tough fight though.

Some overloaded heal items and proc overloaded heals, so if you get lucky you can heal a group from red/orange to full with one group heal.

Also, there is no point to wearing replenishing heal items if you are in a group with double regen, or if you don't have any power problems. Not sure about your guild/raid set up, but I don't think anyone has a power problem in my guild.

Just to give you an idea to what i wear, I got the gloves from SoH, the legendary overloaded heal cloak from RoK, Ring of forgiveness from Silverwing, and the legendary overloaded heal earring from quests in JW. In most fights with AoE-ing mobs, My gloves are anywhere from 17%-25% of heals, the legendary items are 5%-10% of heals, and the ring from silverwing is 3%-5% of heals.

First of all, replenishing heal doesn't mix well with other power procs, ie; contested mayong hat, will proc on said person and not allow their item to proc because they get the shitty ass replenishing heal power proc instead

Secondly, get the collection quest belt and one or two manawell items and you should never run out of power anyways

Overloaded heal isn't as huge for clerics as it is for shamans or druids, but it is far more useful than replenishing heal

Oh, and overloaded heal itself may not seem that great, but the thing is, it has 1 chance to proc per person healed, so if you per say cast a group heal, you have given 1 item SIX chances of proc'ing, get 10 items, SIXTY chances, do the math
