I'm not exactly sure which spell that one is...but maybe Mark??

Again, please understand, I changed nothing, I was gone for a week, came back, and I can't even get out of KJ un-assisted or without calling, it's ridiculous. Everyone treats this as if I've just started playing yesterday...please believe me, I didn't change anything, I was simply gone for a week.

I think its a lvl 58 spell Unyeilding Benediction or something of that sort. The background of the icon is orange and their is a picture of a chest of gray/blue armor on it. Mark is a debuff I'm talking about an actual buff that gives you stoneskin.

I think I know which one you are speaking of...is that one of those special spells that doesn't have an update? I do use that spell although I've been wondering if it had an update or what the deal was. I'll double-check when I get home.

Just a friendly reminder....I'm doing the same things (with a few change ups now and then to test things) that I was prior to this issue happening...it was working great, then it wasn't with no apparent changes to my play style.

Can any of you take a Yellow ^ with no adds? Maybe I was never supposed to be able to fight on my own and it's finally caught up to me. (Now I can only take one or two greens, one blue, and nothing else...it's very strange.) Keep the ideas coming and I'll keep double-checking.

I have made a decision to park the Templar indefinitely unless it's to test something new or I read something in the update notes that would indicate there's a fix to my apparent nonexistent issue. I’ll bring him out to group if really needed, but he’s retired from raids and from soloing for now.

I'm sory man, I wish I knew what to tell you. I have no real problems soloing yellow ^'s other than being painfully slow at it. If you have changed nothing, then there shouldnt be a problem.

I'm starting to think I must have changed a piece of gear prior to going TDY and then forgot I did it...I still can't think of what I might have changed out. If I'm the only one seeing this issue then it can only be something I did....and boy, did I do it. I can't even get out of KJ on my own without calling or grouping...if anything touches me I'm dead unless it's a single blue mob and I was prepared for it. Can any single item be that uber that it wrecked my gaming experience?

This is probably stupid but it sounds like you dont have any gear on, is it possible you put your gear in the new apperance slots?

I thought of that also....and checked...nope. I am now pretty sure I did something, but for the life of me can't figure out what I did. At the most I changed out maybe one piece of gear (that I don't recall now) prior to leaving and must have jacked everything up.

Another posting suggested a bit of a gear change on a couple of pieces, nothing extravagant, but a change nonetheless. I'm willing to make those minor adjustments and try again.

This one has me baffled.

You could have posted ur stats screenie n hp for a start.. that could help um.. helping.
Check ur hotbars carefully too, maybe you have t1 spells there. It happens sometimes when someone has your acc info.
And um.. shiny tracking goggles on maybe?

I've run the course of things to try on this character. I did nothing...I know I did nothing to cause this much grief. I had a similar problem with this toon when he was in his twenties. I ended up parking him for something close to a year, then read of an update to the Templars so I thought I would try again....he was fun to play, slow to kill, but doable, very doable. Right now I can't fight my way out of a wet paper sack, even in a group any more. I was in a group and watched people die because I couldn't cast spells while the group was being attacked, let alone me being attacked. Something is very wrong and I didn't do it. It could be a corrupted file on my side or something that SOE did, but I simply can't play this toon. I've filed bug reports in the past, but nothing ever comes of them, ever, although I might give it one last shot for this issue.

For now, he's being retired indefinately and I would cancel everything except I have many RL friends and a number of family members who play. I'm rolling a Paladin and going to PL the hell out of him and see if that will bring me some playability. Understand, I know that Templars are slow and have some serious limitations, but I can't do squat, nothing, I can't move through an agro area because one hit roots me and I can't cast....then I die, very quickly.

To all that gave serious answers...THANK YOU. To those who keep telling me to change spell order, buy better gear, get better spells, or anything that doesn't acknowledge that I wasn't having this issue a couple of weeks ago...bite my ass. I fully understand having to make adjustments occasionaly, however, very few seem to want to see the part about how it had been working fine. This is akin to driving down the road and getting a flat tire...hell, it was working, I didn't change anything....now the tire is flat and I'm stuck. I just can't figure out what caused the flat tire.
