Lots of good info here, thank you!

I've only played a Fury to level 36 over a year ago, and a Mystic to level 18. So I really don't know much about healers.

Templar sure does sound good. I was looking at the buffs for both Defiler and Templar, and that is helping me decide too. As I said I might be duo'ing with a wizard friend. He kills while I keep him alive and do what I can to help with the killing part.

How different are Inquisitors and Templars? I've looked at both spell lists and they seem to share a lot of the same heals.

Inquisitors have the ability to make much higher dps. They also have buffs that increase melee skills. Generally not so powerful on the heal side, but a really good inquisitor can keep up with a templar with the right gear & setup... and if any of you templars disagree, I shall get Chanah in here and set him upon you.. rofl.

One of main templar job-keep group capable to work In another words templars have sanctuary(group immune to most cc effects). They are immune to interupts(AA), almost immune to stiffle, with proper gear have big chance on stun(class weapon),fear immune. They have a lot of hp/resists so they can stay in aoe. They can be alive and keep dispelling shit on group in situations where another healers will be dead or w/e.

agreed. While I have never played an Inquisitor, i absolutely LOVE my little Templar. She's a ton of fun on raids. Maybe not a big deal to most, but I was very excited on my first solo heal of Maidens
