Solo Weapons

Was wondering what some others are out there soloing with as there primary weapon?

I haven't noticed a whole lot of good Solo weapons for Templars in T8 so far. Could you guys point me in the right direction on some decent weapons for solo use.

Currently in my possesion are the Fabled Epic, Morning star from CoA (the one with Haste), the reward from anaphalaxis (?SP) and soulfire hammer.

I have yet to actually see a legendary+ 2hndr in T8, but then again I've really only seen T1 raiding. Are there any that I'm missing?

There is a reasonable two hander that drops from Kodux/Zarda in the Temple of Kor'Sha. There are no doubt others too but that one springs to mind.

Supple dogwood staff, fabled drop from VP. Gives 15% dodge, which is useful for solo and raid trash, as you are still getting some use out of shield ally.

Seems that no one rolls on that item besides brawlers and clerics.

Did some digging on lootdb found that there are decent (damage spread anyhow) 2hndrs that drop in CoA, Chelsith and Chardok.

I did see Twin Mallet and supple dogwood staff as well...the staff would be super sweet, but we are far from getting into VP as we are still having troubles getting past, you guessed it, the Twins in Temple.

I might start farming some of these other 2hndrs for a bit. Maybe get lucky and pick up the one that has the healing wave proc

I like the weapon from Pawbuster. 2H Bonecrusher iirc and the 1H from PR with the +12% dmgboost proc. both have good dr and very nice procs.

I like the 2 hander from pawbuster and for a 1 hander still the best imo is tha Mayong Hammer. This adds double attack so if you have the 100% melee spec and double attack I think you can get close to 70 % double attack. I also looted a badass 1 hander from Druushk last night but the name of the hammer escapes me.

Well, with the new mastercrafted weapons the 2 handers do about 502 i think it was on the high end, and there is one that has 100str/100int for stats (maul i believe). So I've ordered one from my local weaponsmith and will see how it goes for the soloing.

I'm guessing overall, you can get better DPS from one that has the 500-900ish proc than from the one that has the proc to temporarily boost heal/spell damage.

Although with a 12s duration of that proc, that could be debatable...hmm

I guess you'd have to get off about 8 spells (7.5 * 120 = 900) in that time to make it worth you're while. I'll have to look at my recast times a little closer to be able to tell for sure.

Guess with the price of incarnadine it might be pretty feasible to just get one of each made up lol.
