Default About the Robe of Alendine.

What about the 20 casting skills penalty againt orange mobs? Is it a very noticable problem to apply lotto heals and Reproval/Smite Corruption compared to wearing another BP?

I use the +11 ordination neck adorn, and the robe still pushes my ordination down to 391, which doesn't look healthy. Obviously I haven't tested it yet...

Fair concern; it makes some difference but nothing worth banging on about. I'd say I get resisted about one in four casts with the robe on and about one in five with the robe off, there's not a huge difference. Obviously some of the beasties in VP seem to be a little more resistant than others though. It does shave a nice slice off our group heals so all worth it imo.

In SoH however where it's pretty much a spam casting nuke fest I prefer to run without the robe to maximise my hit rate.

BTW, I think it's called the Robe of Adrenaline though right?

Aye, Alendine.

I've tested the robe in VP, you're right Roldor, it doesn't make a big difference concerning resists. It does however shift my power used/power proc'd equilibrium toward the bad side due to the ministration penalty, I think. I'd need to check how many percent more power a heal costs with the robe on, or if I am imagining things.. if so, I'll post it.

My spells cost about 3.5% more power with the Alendine robe equipped.

No-one should have power issues these days.

True. The only question is how many power proc items do I need to wear for the equlibrium between power spent vs power regained?

I wear the mayong hat which is usually enough. I do have a steady decline in power though, depending on if the fight has a power drain component. The power collection belt, however, makes me stuck at 100% power.

I agree with the collection belt power has become meaningless. The loss of power via ministration decrease is nothing. If power is still a issue have a second healer put on the belt or farm throne room for the 2 peice set.

I use the throneroom set for Venril. I remove all other power proc gear including the belt and force a proc on the set using my group reactive when/if i need power.

I used mayong hat + collection quest belt and had 0 power problems, even on byzola and such... Plus with those 2 items if you have no power at all you can just cast your mit + hp buffs to proc power... it's ez mode.
