im a mt temp whos guild is only just starting raiding, is it worth getting my 33% set pieces ??

You loose too much benefit nowadays (Overloaded Healing, Healcrit, Manaproc, ...). Get the robe from SoF and the boots from TPR, that will be enough since you will be Int specced in any case.
