So are almost all class threads that ask "Are we Overpowered", though. When someone makes such a thread in their own class forums, I have to wonder what they expect people to reply. If a class isn't OP, then people won't make mention that they are, causing players of that class to read that and feel insecure about their class being OP, and posting threads like this one in an effort to feel better about it by lying to themselves! :D

Don't worry though, you are not alone, see Guardians, and other times when certain classes have been overpowered.

Actually, I was one of the few saying yes, templars are OP, but ... seems you went through all bars in Sao Paulo in your time away from the game tbh!

phrozen are you complaining that templars or overpowered or just bitching cos inquis's are stupidly underpowered. (who blantantly are) do you spend time in the defiler forum complaining how op defilers are and tell anyone who disagrees to 'Level a fucking inquis and see how op you are' ...ffs all the important stuff was said in the first 2 pages

anyone notice that repent allows reactives to tick when it's warding?
shield ally: wow so op you got to use one of two legendary shields to get a decent return on it AND tack on 3 adornments. Who would prefer something like the star of malice from soh in there?

Yeah, I had the opposite betrayal path... I fought mischief last expansion playing an inquisitor... and this one as a templar. I was thankful I betrayed

Funny you should mention Defilers. I think Defilers and Mystics are almost about right, so no need to go whine there. Defilers superior in defensive, mystics superior in offensive.

However, Templars vs Inquisitors... well, Templars are good or better at everything an Inquisitor does, apart from debuffing.

You can't deny Templars had a massive boost with Repent and the extra AA's this expansion.

Ok, so you agree that Inquisitors should swing more to the offensive side of things. That is fine but saying the defensive buffs of a defensive class is overpowered is ludicrous.

I think templars are fine but inquisitors could use a bump in the offensive department.

Wardens could also use something to increase their raid desirability since they really aren't needed.

and dps. and buffing grp dps (lame as it maybe now those are so easy to get high.)

with the extra aa's temps can now get and extra 15.6% heal crit from the cleric tree YAY! Don't even bother with the temp tree. (ooo cc or cure 'enhancements')

Repent is nice but how often does the temp outparse a defiler on a raid mob nowerdays? No more than in the previous tier. Kinda suggests that repent is there to help temps keep pace with defilers on healing the mt.

Yes temps vs inquis on defensive/healing makes the temps look op'd. But that's more because of shitty/broken inquis stuff than anything. (cheers soe!)

Rofl. As a Templar you could take the Smite Wrath line to DPS, and put out similar numbers to an Inquis.
