Repent is nice but how often does the temp outparse a defiler on a raid mob nowerdays? No more than in the previous tier. Kinda suggests that repent is there to help temps keep pace with defilers on healing the mt.
Yes temps vs inquis on defensive/healing makes the temps look op'd. But that's more because of shitty/broken inquis stuff than anything. (cheers soe!)

I thought they put repent in because they felt bad for us since out reactives would always time out before procing.

Yes, but a templar can be equally offensive if spec'd right, they just lack Tenacity, but then again can have both group buffs up and have Aegolsim (which adds 24haste to everyone too)... So...
Most've the time I drop both mitigation buffs to run 4 DPS buffs... bit stupid really. Give Inquisitors group Tenacity and OMFG that'd be sick. But no.

I don't disagree with you. I thought it was a mistake to give templars more dps and I wouldn't mind a more defensive ability to replace that haste on mythical.
Even if they took the haste part out and made put % to parry so the weapon has some use for shield ally.

Shrug, that's just how it felt to me after I betrayed from inquis to templar, though was pretty much only running Maiden's at that time. Of course it's overall way easier to heal anything as a templar but that's a given. I admit I was never able to throw points into daze and stun so maybe that had something to do with it.
Right now, using daze and stun as they come up (though not with AA points in them) I still have to spam to keep the beserker up in RE2, so not even close to direct heals and reactives not being needed. If not being able to put AA points in them changes things that much then my bad.

Re: So, are we really so overpowered?
Just for the record - I didn't make this thead to get a pad on my back and hear how NOT overpowered we are. I am pretty happy to get some input from templars who say they do think we are too strong,
But I honestly don't care much why some of you think I started this thread. I got useful info for myself.

or god forbit that the 1% chance of it breaking actually happens

Oh and funny enough. The past few days I have sanctuary not prevent stun a lot of times. I have no clue why but on several encounters my group got feared and stunned even though sanct was up. Trying to figure out if ACT does list the cast but I couldn't see it in any of the outputs (even though the spell did gray out thus means I casted it). Yeah I know it has a chance to break..
On another note: does sony not track back the trigger count on intervention?

What do you mean by Tenacity? More tools to not get interrupted such as steadfast?

Tenacity is the name of their hp/dps buff.

Re: So, are we really so overpowered?
Huxley its grossly obvious how retarded all the templars are now Please betray back and apply so you can be no helm buddies!
Also this thread so far is one of the best reads this week. Keep up the good work making stupid points guys, A++!

Even with out the AA points in it saying that a STR & INT debuff is better than daze or stun is probably one of the amazing things posted in the templar section.

That's fine, never looked at actual numbers so the impression I got could've been wrong, or it was just luck, or whatever. Either way, glad I could both learn differently and entertain at the same time!

ha, thanks - one of the reason I made this thread is because I am not one to really judge healers against eachother. Some of them I hardly know in detail (such as defilers and inquis for example) since we don't have the chance to play WITH them.
