Do reactives get counted on the parse ( I'm thinking not)?

Giving the questions, I'm going to assume you are new to a templar so I will give as much detail as I can. Yes reactives get counted on the parse, however, they only count if the tank actually needs a heal or is below 100% health. So a shaman's ward will be counted before a templar's reactive because a ward makes it to where the tank actually absorbs damage, making his health to stay at 100% (until the damage is greater then the ward, the tanks health will drop below 100% and your reactives will start to heal).
What I generally do is only spam heals even if tank is at 100% if I notice that the tank is taking a lot of spike damage (i.e. yellow to green every 2 seconds). Otherwise, just make sure Repent is always up, and you have both your single and group reactives going at all times. Another HUGE few spells we have is Involuntary Gift, and Mark of Divinity. Most new templars do not realize how powerful these spells are... Keep them up on the mob (not trash unless the tank really needs the heals) at all times!! Then last, put glory on someone who casts quick. Generally a chanter will be a perfect candidate.
As for AA's... I personally went AGI - 4 4 7 8 1... STA - 4 4 4 8... and INT - 4 4 6 8 1 as a MT templar. This gives you quicker heals, heal crit and Shield Ally. Shield Ally is huge, and helps the tank avoid hits by a crazy amount. With shield Ally you will want to get your avoidance up as high as possible, since the tank benefits from it. I would suggest getting the "Guard of Drelikus" from a named in Chardok. Its the best cleric shield in game atm for shield ally because it has such a high protection at 903. You will also want to get adornments to help with Shield Ally. One good one is Labent Balanced Strut. This is applied to your shield and gives you a 1% chance to block with a shield (helping your avoid, which in return helps the tank avoid hits with shield ally). Then there is also two that you should adorn your wrists with (Smoldering Balanced Fastening) which will do the same thing.
For the templar tree I maxed out the blessings tree, the smite tree, and then maxed my dehate and my mit debuff.
Another big thing, is make sure you have all the best instanced gear. Anything with "Overloaded Heal" or things that proc a heal or ward are great for a templar. Dont be afriad to wear a few items that arent plate.
Edit - Oh yea I almost forgot! Download the Profitui. It helps a lot as a healer. Not only does it look way better then normal ui, but it allows us to cure/heal quick simply by clicking a icon by a persons name. It can be found here:

Hope this helps!

If your tank is stable and you have time between the next ae there is no reason you should not be DPS'ing your ass off.. well as much as Temps CAN dps there ass off...

Ive noticed the other healers in groups 3 and 4 end up low on the parse as well due to lack of damage to the group. Groups 1 and 2 just end up with more damage, as they should....

Tell your guildees to get more chokers imo! That will put you up there on the parse
Also yea, if you are not the mt templar then you should be parsing pretty high on the dps parse.

Hmm Glory on a caster ??? I am pretty sure that it procs off of melee not casting, but I am at work and I've been wrong once before, lol. I usually put it on swash/assasin or even a brawler.
All good advice so far, I personally don't give a damn what the heal parse says. If everyone is alive and the mob is dead than we did our job =) There is no love for templars on the heal parse. I would love to see ACT parse stonskin on the heal parse, then we would be top every time no problem.
The blessings line is great for being in a caster group. I also went down the melee crit line for max dps. I am usually in the offtank group and I am specced all dps. I can usually hit around 2k on the parse depending on how much I have to heal. I am pretty pimped out and I personally don't believe the templars that say they are doing 3 k zone wide.
Don't sweat the heal parse, just dps and heal when needed and be ready to step up on the night you get the call to MT group.
good luck

I had to double take that too but the spell does say ANY attack.....if attack is melee then only main hand will proc.....
I kinda always assumed it was melee only but I stand corrected.
I tried dps AA spec the other night in hate just to mess around and I have hardly any intel or str gear and I was hitting 1.6-2.6k on trash mobs. Actually surprised me and the inqus that was in the raid too. (was slightly pissed )

Re: New to raiding, lots of questions, please help :(
I'm fairly certain I memorized it as "On any successful attack" meant it would proc for melee, ranged and abilities; where as "On a successful attack" meant it would proc for melee and ranged.
According to that, my Glory spell says it will only proc for melee and ranged. At one point it was melee only, but it was revised some months ago to include ranged.

It doesn't say ANY attack on the description. I am pretty sure using it on a caster doesn't work.
However it's nice on rangers now as well as where it was only worth casting on fast melee types before.
