Shield Ally is nice for the MT group. Dont worry about the STA line as you can get crit gear to make up for the loss.

Dont spec STR line unless you really need it (or use a mirror to switch). If you knew that Pawbuster stifles only the 18 (??) nearest players, you can easily avoid the stifle. AGI STA INT works fine until you're at 100% heal crit.

Why spec Steadfast if you don't need it? I find DR and the AOE blocker in AGI line much more useful.

I agree. Steadfast is nice for soloing and dueling, and for a few specific raid mobs. I just keep it as my mirror build.

I keep steadfast in my mirror also but almost never use it. I much prefer int/sta/agi for almost everything. Steadfast is really situational.

How do you decide between the different paths. I consider Divine Recovery as very useful and with a Wizard as mainchar I'd even say it's a must-have. On the other hand there is Steadfast, which is also a very useful ability especially against Pawbuster f.e. .
If you skill these two paths (Str+Int), there are only enough AA Points left for either HealCrit (Sta) or Shield Ally (Agi).
So what to do??? Skipping Steadfast to get Shield Ally + Shield efficiency?
For a Magegroup DR is of course the best choice, but what else should be skilled and what about the MT Group?

-.- -.- -.- -.- -.- cockfucker jamming up my thread with shit you could have read! GO READ THE FORUMS jackass

The same can be said for DR and Holy Shield, it's a matter of preference and/or what your raid runs...

DR is always useful, not only for 2% of the fights... AOE block is useful less often, but almost every sort of trash in VP, and some other raid zones, have mobs whose AOE you preferrably don't eat if you could pick&choose. /shrug It's not really necessary usually, but helps often. Can't say that about Steadfast to the same degree.

Steadfast is an amazing ability. However i've found that unless you're going to pulling avatars, trak or byzola then there's no point in speccing for it. Holy shield is a bit useless tho. Yeah it's convenient to have I guess, but there's no reason to have it because if the AE is gonna go off then the group is probably going to be jousting out or if you're in the mt group then have some sort of AE avoid running or will just have to heal through it. Stamina line up until Holy Shield is absolute gold. Even if you're not the mt templar Battle Fervor is a must have.
