I was MT clericing VP last night, an Inquis, setup as Str 4-8-8-2-1, Agi 4-4-8, Sta 4-4-8, Int 4-4-5, no issues with trash, not having Divine Recovery or Holy Shield.
Divine Recovery's recast is too long, and really isn't that great.
Holy Shield is pretty decent, although again not required - especially on trash - DPS = win... clear those shitty zones faster.

Re: Couple of questions.
DR was nice in KoS and middle EoF, and only for one thing-fast debuffs on pull. Now it's almost usless imo.

Re: Couple of questions.
DR is not necessary at all. However, the whole line up to that is pretty nice. So sinking an extra couple of AAs into DR at that point is worth it, IMO.

Having different opionions on AA spec is different then having questions on it.
Second if you had read, as you say about AA spec, you would have found the thread about SA already and that as a MT templar the majority agrees that you should spec for it. Not to mention that specing sta when you get into raiding heavily is redundent because you will have enough crti heal gear to not need that extra crit heal from the AA line. Now go fuck yourself for being a idiot and acting self rightous about shit that you could have gotten off your lazy ass and found out.
Now if it wasnt in fact on this forum how would I know this? I know maybe 2 80 templars none of them raid. Maybe because its all right here.

Re: Couple of questions.
It is interesting all the different opinions. I have yet a totally different view. Fuck the shield ally, fuck steadfast, go all out DPS spec. go for 100% melee crit, spell crit, healing is too easy anyway so if you have to work once in a while to keep the tank up, so what! I cant believe I read that a retard said that if you dont have steadfast you ahould delete your toon. Bah ! WAKE UP PEOPLE every class is a DPS class. Healing is secondary. So what if someone dies, thats why we have in combat rez spells. LOL ! Divine Recovery and Blessings is the Shizzle !

Re: Couple of questions.
DAMN YOU AND YOUR HERATIC WAYS!
jk. Actually I enjoy the healing aspec of this class more then the dps(which is pitiful tbh takes me damn near 2 min to kill a green mob =/) and solo healing instances.

Re: Couple of questions.
Recently I have been looking at DR in a whole new light. The troub in my group was wondering why I don't send her a tell for jcap whenever that was up. I really didn't have an answer for her. Well now that I have my macro to send her a tell for jcap and then hit DR while that's on me, the recast is reduced making it a very nice buff.

Re: Couple of questions.
So I did a couple guild raids yesterday. And hands down beat everyone on the heal parse. Wasnt even close, even beat the inq that was 18 lvls above me mentored down. I had to mentor down as well because Im 41 and we were mentored down to 31. We didnt have any shamans in the raid either tho.
AA spec at 42 atm is
STA 4448
INT 4447
I was the MT temp but not speced for SA yet obviously but for max cast and crit.
first raid.
Me :109k
Inq:80something k
warden:70something close to 80
Second raid was a bit closer
me 38k
warden:26k
inq: 19k
Question tho. who usually tops the heal parses? I would think that shamans would with their wards... if those count as healing right? or do clerics usually top parses? More of a question of where I should be landing on raids as far as healing love goes.
