Have you guys tested it in game that arcane ward actually works?

I was testing it in maidens last week and it didn't seem to be working but it might have been that my UI wasn't updating the information properly. The ward seemed to be staying at full though with people using chokers.

I know the choker says magic but for some reason I thought I read something somewhere about it being focus damage.

That's because the Ward is a ward that gets placed on every person grouped individually, and the value you're looking at is the value for yourself, not for anybody else.

Found the quote:

It's actually always been focus damage, we just didn't used to have a special name for unresistable damage, so it would show up as whatever damage type it was set to (in this case magic). I modified the text on the choker to say 'focus' damage now, which will hopefully prevent any confusion.

Thats the funny thing about focus damage, if you didnt inspect ACT before they changed their logging, you wouldnt know what actual damage type some mob attacks have. Quite stupid, Sony.
