Default Proc Heals + early tier reactives

Sooooooo the other night I was in a group in SOS.
69 Templar: me
60's Bruiser
65 SK

We were rolling through without issue, having fun, split tanking and all the fun stuff. I would throw up my most current single target reactive right after each pull and continue to run through my routine.

Defense debuff, wis debuff, Mark, toss up Reverence (the spell that heals per power used) dot and start the DPS. I will refresh the single when needed.

I noticed that we were doing very well, rarely dropping below 95% hp on the SK. So I started using the old school single reactive. I put GOC on the Bruiser instead of the HP buff. And I was quite surprised at how well GOC and Mark were proc healing. They were going off like mad! I have read in the past how useless GOC is (in Heroic/Raid) but I may have to start using it inplace of my HP buff on another party member.

Cliff notes:
GOC and Mark proc'd quite well in a 3 man group
Surprised by results

GOC is Glory of Battle?

Useless in raids, useless in groups unless you don't heal (much) at all (COA). I am not impressed with that spell, it seems to proc very rarely, and if it procs, it heals for puny amounts. So if you're playing it cool and leaving your group in yellow health all the time, and have a majority of fighters and scouts in your group, GoC might heal for a bit. Otherwise it won't. Personally, if I dont feel like maintaining reactives, I prefer CCing the mobs and using Healing Fate (Amending Fate) to heal them so as not to get Disable Smite Wrath. I recommend maxing out the stun and daze AA in the templar tree if you wanna try that. Along with the leftmost tree ofc.

Glory is a very good spell, amaising for some fights-contested Mayong, for example, in T7.
With 2 glory in full group of chokers u rarely need to cast any heal.
Full VP run:glorry-7% heals,OH items-6%.
Oh ye, and ofc do not touch stun and daze AA, like Lessing sugested

Arabani might not be aware how OP templar daze and stun is in heroic content, or that the OP is currently only doing heroic content to level. This is all I can say while staying polite .p

Using my level 14 Group reactive for procs, it is great for those points when I get hosed without a power regen and need power or to get everyone back up after getting drained.

I hate to say it, but I will probably never raid on with Camber/Nettles again. Not enough time.

And for Heroic/Instance, so far the GOC has done me well. Especially when combined with Mark and the Amending line (as mentioned above). Toss in some low level single reac's and I can start to kick out some decent dps. Maybe I will try messing around with my AA's and such.
