This thread aims to list the best templar items in the game, both for raiders and non-raiders.

Items available only from avatars/Tangrin are purple (like mythical), items from instanced raid zones are red (fabled), and items available outside of raids and through pickup raids (Domini, x2 in KJ) are golden like the legendary in-game tag. The colour tag does not represent the tier (fabled, legendary, treasured, etc) of the item itself, only the availability.

Items are adorned with one or more icons designating their particular strengths.

Might I suggest adding foods for non-mt templars? If there are better suggestions which I would think there would be... because if I've read correctly a MT templar needs the +%parry for the SA. However, a non-MT temp doesnt really use that often and might be more towards the DPS aspec, so will not have SA and will not need the +%parry.

Yea of course, suggest away. One of the problems with this list is that any OT or mage group templar could gear up with mostly mage gear, cloth, etc, and still keep his group up just fine. Then however he should just go for what furies use for dps, I guess. So yea, this thread is supposed to show gear to enhance the templar's role as a healer. OT templar / non-SA gear suggestions are perfectly fine though.

Or I include a dps tag to mark the dps items extra. I dunno.

A pure dps cloak and a situational ring... I'll go and check how the other healer forums handled this.

edit: turns out, some priest classes have no gear thread, some have 2 (heal&dps), some have combined info... what I'd like to do is a table, but I don't see that this WYSIWYG editor can handle tables.
