That becouse u did not fight hard mobs yet. I'm agree with both U and Momolicious.
For casual/semiraiding guilds this earing may helps, but when u fighting contesteds every ward/reactive amount helps alot.

The only time your group reactive is going to be fully depleted fighting anything is when your tank is holding aggro on multiple mobs or when your group catches an AE, and sometimes if you are very unlucky, the mob will just double attack every auto attack round for it, other than those three situations you will always be able to recast the group reactive before all of the triggers are eaten.

Hell, even with an AE you will be able to recast before the triggers expire half the time, unless of course your raid sucks at debuffing, your tank has low to no avoidance/your back is turned/a brawler isn't close to him.

So then your saying the loss of half your group reactives is worth a 5% reduction in incoming damage to the tank?

Or did you figure the fact of your reactives not using half their charges before you reapply them?

Most of the 5% is eaten by wards anyway, be it Shelter, Runic Cover, dirge stoneskin, or defiler group ward. I've not yet experienced a situation where all reactives were down in a situation where it mattered, but I'll keep checking.

I forgot to mention Hateshield. Our defiler won the hat 3 weeks ago, and that shit is off the hook.

the buff is raid wide? if so it's best for someone that's out of MT group entirely unless it has a max range for intercepting damage or something. I can't imagine how overpowered this item was before it was nerfed too...

It's only group wide. And it interrupts you quite a bit if there are more than 3 mobs on the MT (unlikely in RoK, I admit). In hindsight, if you have always the same scout in the MT group, he is the best candidate for that earring (altho no scout will use the heart for that purpose I am sure .p)

Would you still suggest that a scout in MT group loot this item?

Tbh lately with multimob encounters, specially OT healing at Gynok, the mortal coil doesn't seem so useful there. It eats group reactives and wards anyway, and it interrupts quite a lot. Against a single mob I imagine it's still pretty good. The difference is for me: are my reactives all eaten up before I can recast them? Then the mortal coil isn't that useful. If I have reactives to spare, use it.
