But with TSO we get a Healing Stance, which lowers cast time and recast timers correct? On Heals not Nukes.

Doubt you will reach the cap recast/ cast with gear/ mythical / monk alone.

Here is my approach to TSO - disclaimer : Last I log onto beta is 2 weeks ago.

MT Templar - Assuming 3 healers
1- +% avodiance for shield ally
2- Proc Ward
3- Casting speed
4- +heal
5- Heal Crit

From what I read and see, this is going to be another heal the spike expansion, so the same tactics still apply from RoK. My only question is how effective will the proc ward be, from what I read and tested I don't see a different in the hate shield helm, and the warding shoulder and legging.

OT/DPS group Templar
1- Recast
2- Casting speed
3- +heal
4- +Crit
5- Diverse procs

I think the challenge in TSO will be keeping you group up with 1 group heal and a semi useless reactive. That's why I would heavy up on recast and casting speed for that.

Also I wonder if having diverse procs will help,

Each OH can only proc once, multiple items can still provide as many procs as there are items with the effect. You just can't get multiple groupwide or power procs from a single item from a single group cast.

And that pretty much makes it pointless to have OH items. If they're only going to proc once across some random person with a group heal (and if I understand this correctly, the proc rates are being nerfed as well, so it won't proc as often) then why have OH items?

I mean, with my existing setup (I don't have the Silverwing ring yet) I cast a group reactive or group heal and at least 1/2 the time, it'll proc my OH items, and give a little bump to the heals (I also do this to proc the Hate Shield across as many people I can).

With TSO, it'll proc only once, on a random person in the group, less frequently, who may or may not even NEED the extra healing? Sounds pretty well FUBAR'ed to me.

Proc rates on OH were the same unless changed in the past weekend I haven't patched beta, the Ethereal Mist Gauntlets proc rate was increased to 1.8ppm. The items will heal for about a 1/3** of what they were parsing for before the Expansion hits after people get into more cast speed gear and AA up to get their Healing Stances(Reuse or Cast speed ones atleast).

And no, they are still a group wide heal, they will proc once per cast per item and heal the entire group.

No, ward proc items are not changed at all, Rune Etched Helm and Runic Cover pieces are the same Pre-TSO and Post-TSO.

The biggest hit that people aren't talking about is the power procs only triggering once, going to take much more active management of healer power pools

**(Rough estimate, usually get 2-7 procs wearing 2 OH items currently on a group reactive cast, so will see 1-2 procs after change is made. Youhave six chances per piece to trigger at its cast speed modified proc rate with a group heal/reactive. The only change is, if it triggers once, that piece cannot trigger again on that cast.)

Gotcha, that was confusing me. I've read several different things on that.

You might be right about the proc rates, but I thought I read somewhere that alot of the OH items were nerfed in their proc rates. Don't quote me on it though.

They are going to be nerfed in their effective proc rate, but not the displayed proc rate, by limiting each item to proc only once per single group cast.
