OK, so I was in the middle of a discussion in the Templar WW channel about the Hateshield proc, and whether or not you can have two on one person or not, so I decided to do some testing.

I joined a group with our MT Defiler, and had him cast crap on me while I was casting shit on myself.

Well, for the non-believers, here's a screenshot, with the 2 Hateshield procs in my beneficial spells bar circled in red. One from me, one from the Defiler. This is also from today, 12-18-2008. Discuss!!

strange that they aren't next to each other.
i tested it a while ago and they didn't stack. maybe they fixed it.
but still you can't overwrite your own one

Well yeah, but having both the MT Defiler and MT Templar having the helm is definitely worthwhile. That's the most important thing anyways.

And while you can't "override" your own proc, you can refresh it.

It's always stacked, the reason why they aren't next to each other is due to the way that buffs show up. YOUR temp buffs show up at the top, other people's temp buffs show at the bottom.

Yeah, it's possible. It could have just been something that was screwed up with the changes to procs. As far as I knew, it always did that for me. It could have been borked from TSO release till now, but I just never knew.

Personally i think that helm sucks for my temp. Shaman its totally uber for. It only procs so much a minute for maybe max 10k . Using my 6 set piece for +3 triggers on a 1500+ reactive adding to roughly 5k every 5 seconds for a minute has always shown i do better without that helm on my temp. 10k heals a minute potential over 40k.

Uhm, you could go with the potential better, or you could go with what is actually better. The thing that is actually better is, the Rune Etched Helm. Anybody who has that, and doesn't wear it, is a moron.

Slippery

Not to mention that it is a regenerating ward and wards are far greater than reactives at increasing survivability. But I mean hey, feel free to throw away the hat that does 20%+ of your heal parse for the extra reactive triggers you won't even notice on the heal parse.
