Hi guys, I am currently my guild's MT plate healer for VP/TSO raids. I have 4 pirces of the VP set, including the hat. With the hat, I get the 20% bonus to Aegolism. I also have the Rune etched Helm. Which would you recommend I use? If I use the VP hat, I get theAegolism bonus. If I use the REH, I lose the Aego bonus, but of course I get the Hateshild effect. Allot of you say the REH adds a ton of healing, but I want to hear your opinions again please.

They nerfed that, fyi.

Either way Rune Etched Helm > any set bonus.

hm.. what can i say, still works for my inq 4set. dps-mod not changing when replacing a piece. dont think it should by any different to group-aegolism but who knows

the equip - buff - unequip thing still works for everything a Templar uses pretty much. the only exception is the epic which you have to start casting aegolism then swap weapons mid-cast and you will still get the group aegolism without your epic.

They only nerfed it for things that get a green effect applied. If it enhances something that is already there it doesn't seems to get effected by the change.

The equipment swapping trick worked fine for me until the MT happened to leave range of the group Aegolism buff. By watching HPs, it became apparent that when the MT was back in range, the Aegolism bonus on him was gone (even though my bonus remained).
