Just curious if anyone knows if Revel will keep updating this thread since he quit now or if someone is taking over the duties. Also, After all the proc nerfs and everything, I'm trying to test if its more effective to use EMGs always or to have 6 set on all but heavy AE encounters. Anyone came to a conclusion, I'm finding it to be about a wash.

I don't see how you would go about testing such a thing. One is a parsable value since it has its own spell name. The other is an increase on all spell heals. The first gets capped by full health so you get an idea of how useful it is. The second is too hard to calculate unless you go through every heal and determine if it fell within the listed range or was capped lower. If it was capped lower, you can't say the increase helped the heal.

You should pretty much be using 6 set + reh/fbh most of the time imo. The only time you shouldn't is on encounters where you aren't able to heal a lot due to need of cures or a lot of control effects.

He could measure the average HPS he gets from EMGs and then compare it to the increase in heal amount, in terms of HPS, he would get from the 6 piece bonus on the heals/procs he has that are affected by crits.

While it would not give a perfect comparison (some cases an increase in heal amount would not yield an increase in the amount yield, ie the target is at full health) it would give a general idea of which would yield a greater healing ability.
