He could measure the average HPS he gets from EMGs and then compare it to the increase in heal amount, in terms of HPS, he would get from the 6 piece bonus on the heals/procs he has that are affected by crits.
While it would not give a perfect comparison (some cases an increase in heal amount would not yield an increase in the amount yield, ie the target is at full health) it would give a general idea of which would yield a greater healing ability.
