Default Anybody else notice the nerf to Divine Arbitration?

It now has a 50m range.

You gotta love them "fixing" spells 3.5 years later eh?

IDK what was so powerful about a zonewide equalize health spell ON A 15 MINUTE REUSE. It was situational before....now it is totally useless.

This was supposed to be changed to 50m when expac went live... and on the description it says 50m, but im pretty sure it is still zone wide. it was up at at least a month ago or so that i remember specifically.

Back during Frostfell I used it a few times to heal someone soloing in a part of the zone where I had no clue where they were. I can't be certain, but I assume they were like 100-200m from me and it worked fine. How far apart were the two towers... with the sibling named..?

This just shows how situational and not overpowered it was since both of you are quoting times over a month ago.

I used it for the same reason as you EQAditu and thought it would be nice to put 1 point into it to make it raid wide for those moments where a person is out of range of the their group healer and about to die.

It was defianetly changed because I was getting out of range messages last night.... of course it could be the AA that is bugged and not the spell.
I will do more testing with it tonight when I am not so tired.

If people's health wasn't fucking jumping like fucking crazy all the time, several spells would be more useful, among them Divine Arsekick. At least in group content now my reactives really seem to be able to stop damage, instead of being just tiny wards dwarfed by massive solo mob hits.

I use mine almost everytime its up.

That having been said, if you put 1 aa point into it and got the out of range message, thats because the AA makes it so you can cast it on others (including other groups), instead of on yourself.

Which means, if you have someone targetted, they have to be within 50m.

To fix this you could just make a macro to use it on yourself (assuming it will allow you to cast on yourself... i don't have AA's in it so i don't know) But i do know that the out of range message is due to the AA point.

I use it all the time as well... right behind Sacrifice as my emergency spell.

For some reason I don't use Holy Salvation first... maybe if it healed a bit more on a 25k health tank. It certainly could have used some AA help. Maybe a longer duration so I don't feel like I wasted a 10min spell so easily. Of course recast reduction would be nice too. Winning raid encounters because you still had an emergency spell up is kinda weird.

Back on topic, just because I use the spell once a month to heal people I cannot see doesn't mean it's the spell's only use.

Considering how the game has changed since release, i would love to see this have something changed.

Either, a longer duration, MUCH longer duration

or

a 3 trigger stoneskin or something.

I'm pretty much the same. I use Sacrifice first, DA after that if needed. I rarely dp simply because I'd rather another healer do that while I try to actually heal the tank. If I don't think I'm going to be able to heal in time is generally when I dp, which is rare.
