Stormhammer has a decent particle effect, although the quest is a royal pain in the ass. The hammer from Atrebe is freaky looking, but no particle.

I really liked the prismatic particle effects... but as I recall, the item itself just looks like a glowing snow cone...

I have it in the bank anyways... maybe I'll think about it.

I should have collected more of those silly void-storm-shred-bought weapons last year. Wrenches and booze bottles and red-hot pokers FTW.

And if my memory's good, there was a post from a Dev on the SoE boards that the weapon's type had to match... not just 2H crush, but 2H "great hammer"... no bo staff appearance if you're using a hammer. (note: not going back to check if my memory's good or not, becuase I'm lazy. And might not be true even if it was posted.)
