I read the sticky about Templar role. It is still very helpful. My guild has talked to me about being the MT healer for Raids, and I would like some info on AA specs for MT group templar. With how many healing points I should expect to do per encounter. Looking through the posts, I found DPS AA spec, but no heal or anything referencing MT Group AA Spec. If I missed it can you please post link.
First and foremost.
When i'm MT healer, i run the following Full-Support build. This build is strictly for being the main healer/buffer for tanks & cures, sacrificed all DPS potential for overkill healing potential.
AGI: 4-4-8-8-2 (Max Shield Effect., Shield Ally, AE Block)
STA: 4-4-7 (HealCrit)
INT: 4-4-6-8-2 (Cast Speed & Divine Recovery)
Mark5, Fate5, Benediction2, Glory3, Blessings1 (Blessings)
Reproval2 (More AA to go in this line)
All Heals 5, Group Heal 5, Sanc5 (nothing like topping a heal parse by only curing, sanc buff is just sexy)
Prayer of Healing5, Secular Protection5, Seal of Faith5, Supplication1
Devoted Allegiance5, Allied Prayers5, Devoted Healing5, Sacrifice
Holy Arbitration1, Penance5, Templar's Restoration5, Restorative Healing5, (Crappy) Focused Prayers.
As for how much you can expect to heal, completely depends on your group makeup. Healers generally can't compare just by a parse, because of how the classes are designed.
If i'm partied with a (good) Defiler/Mystic, generally my heal parse will be considerably lower then hers/his, and i spend 90% of my time making sure everyone is cured & handling spike dmg, while he/she's preventing a considerable portion of the dmg.
Dont worry so much about your parse, a its mostly irrelevent and entirely too situtational. Give me a group with 5 DPS running chokers, and my heal parse is going to be amazing, potentially better then the MT healers. Does that mean i'm a better healer? Not really, MT healer is in a completely different situation then i am.

dumb to spec heal crit especially when you are in mt group and get 16% from coercer get steadfast instead
may be..but they are still waste with all this proc and +healbonus\heal\crit etc gear.Actually they crit for over 400 and you would be surprised how much they heal especially with all the spam curing we have to do.<!-- / message -->
same for enchance sanctuary-was vital in eof but totaly shit now.
Also i'm not agree with cleric and especially shadow tree.
hrm when i look at my ACT it shows up at less then 1% well 0 but hey.. i am wondering if i should spec more into it.. but it seems such a waiste of AA i got the sanc and im not in a group where mana cure would be good i.e. mage type group.
as for dps? well hell even auto attacking can land you some numbers.. much like your statement of any little bit helps.. the same can be said for dps.. Alot of templars are at the point in this xpac where the tanks are geared out and now they have to heal a little less so what else you gonna do? over heal the tank??
Sadly for me i still gotta crank heals... ya my progression sucks ass..
well, may be non raid\or slack raid templars need all "healing power" aa they can get, i'm not for sure, and most raiding templar too i think. So why not spent something in dps. What else are you gonna spec it in...dps?
