I think the 91 i mentioned was at 1 point or maybe 2.

But still, 162 and 211 (crit) is pretty fucking worthless.

im assuming thats with 5 points? do you remember?

My best now a days seems to be 495 triggers. Which is probably with Gravitas and a Fury mythical buffing me, heh. 394 seems like the lowest critical for me.

Eh. I spec the cures because with as much as I'm curing these days (and they proc from group cures too), it's a little extra healing at a time when my group gets randomly slutted by AoEs.

That being said, where would you put your points if not in the cure line? I have less than zero interest in doing dps; if I wanted that I'd be back on my conjy or illy. Also, the Sanct bonus puts me at 40s of joy, so that's kind of nice. But really, I put more points in this line because where else would I put it? bleck.

Thats kind of a shitty attitude to have. Its not hard to time autoattacks and keep dots/nukes going while on trash.

and its even more fun to set yourself personal DPS goals for named fights and avatars.

I've been wanting to spec out of it for a long time now. The problem is that there really isn't a better option. The Holy Smites line is pointless because spells are really a small portion of my total dps contributors. And we all know the compliances line is absolute dog shit.

Compliances is NOT "dog shit," there are some nice abilities in there that are a better option than Mana Cure. As far as end lines go, though, you only need Blessings.

For example, I invested in greater mitigation reduction for our physical mitigation debuff and a faster reuse speed on our Greater Complacency deaggro, and both are extremely useful spells, in my opinion.

Maybe you misunderstand. I didn't say I wouldn't dps, I just don't give a shit. In much the same way as many dps classes don't give a flying fart in hell about healing, I don't care about dps. I don't like parsing, I don't like meleeing, and I don't enjoy it. It's not my thing.

I'll do whatever I have to do for the raid to be successful, and if and when that requires me DPSing (as I am aware that it does on certain mobs in TSO), I most certainly will. But I am not required to like it. I play a Templar because at the end of the day, healing on raids is my favorite part of the game.

I have those two as well since the first is nice to have wherever, and the 2nd good for pickup groups.

I've put my points in the smite tree, not in the cure one because we're not currently fighting mobs that need an enhanced sanctuary.
