On Live (5-27-2009):




On TEST (5-27-2009):







So, seriously, WTF? I thought it was an oops at first, reading that it effects Vital Intercession IV (meaning 3 tiers old) but it seems that it effects that tier and higher. Why such a nerf? Why no longer does it effect our group reactive, yet still the reactives cast Supplicant's Prayer, so there was no real need for a change.

Well i'm not on test but might /testcopy to check it out.

That seems broken. I saw no mention that reactives were getting nerfed and they wouldn't have been affected in any proc nerf since spells 'proc' were not to be affected. (and i doubt reactives are considered 'procs')

I'd /bug it.

That spell naming is going to be annoying.

I thought that too, but why the fuck would they have changed the Mythical to begin with? It doesn't make sense. Unless it was purposely done, it didn't need to be changed (as evidenced by the reactives still casting Supplicant's Prayer, which means the Mythical, unchanged from Live would still work on Test with the spell naming changes).

And so the broken proc cycle begins.

I knew that they would break shit when they went in and started tinkering with shit.

Also, those numbers look about what we were getting from last tiers masters? Yes/no?

If this is intended then it will make hitting the cancel button that much easier.

bah i misread your post last night. it's more of a mythical nerf than a reactive nerf. Hope it's just a screw up with the spell naming changes.

well the mistake is that they changed it from the sup prayer boost (the effect that our reactives cast when triggered) to the actual spell which would do jack and shit, because that doesnt cast the heal it cast an ability that procs the heal... fucking idiots... and they misspelled that shit to boot..

has anyone checked the defiler forums yet? Might be a clue to how this started... Maybe, maybe not... Maybe I am paranoid.. That is it. No other class would definately call for a nerf of another class.

It is a bug. A dev replied to thread on main boards.

I guess he tinkered with the code so they could scale either the single reactive or group reactive and forgot to include both back into the mythical code.

As if that dev that replied is so full of honor and tries to be balanced and fair all the time. He said that there was a typo and he fixed that but changed the code to allow for scaling. chances are that the look of test will be back not forward in scaling. apparently the templar DPS guide has made the assassins a little nervous. So incoming nerf of heals so we have to work harder on healing and less on dps. So keeps the supremecy of the assassin class.

SOE makes so much loot why not have a dev for each class rather than a fuckwad to screw up every other class to make his better. chances are we would get a defiler dev for the (Healing dev). Yeah!!!
