If they get a hp buff then they won't need the regen revamp. The whole point of it wasn't because they can't heal.....it was because their group wasn't living through AoE's.

Also, it seems silly druids get the storing heal amount that templars were asking for years for while they leave templars non efficient heals alone.

They could have gone to the root of the problem and made it so wards won't block all the other healers heals and made it so clerics and druids could actually heal.

And how would you have done that? Making wards only partially absorb damage so there's something for others to heal?

part of it would be to actually change the way mobs deal damage. instead of spiking 15k damage to the tank every 10sec, why not have the mob fully debuffed hit for 3k every second? that way there would actually be something to constantly heal. this whole trend of having mobs only hit once every full moon is kinda getting out of hand imo.

That's mainly because of avoidance mainly. And mobs critting actually makes it fun to me. Predictable damage income leads to predictable, and thus boring, fights.

Fast hitting mobs with small autoattack = ftw. Not only does this make reactives much more viable, but it also helps druid HOTs to tick more efficiently. And it doesn't matter for the warders if the mobs hit hard and rare, or weak and often. There are only winners. One of the fights I enjoy healing most is Gynok, where I am the OT templar. As long as my reactives are on, the OT's health goes up or stays at 100%. That's exactly how reactives should be used.

Yeah, Gynok is fun. Our SK (normally OT) tanks the whole damn encounter himself (one of the other tanks may pull one of them off at any point to tank), and for that fight, we have 3 healers in the MT group. I actually have to pay attention watching for spike damage and to the curse (me and the Defiler take turns curing the curse). IMO, one of the most fun fights I heal on.

Who knows but having 1 type of heal totally negate all the other types is poor game design.

Wards are superior by design, especially in a multi-healer environment, and nothing will change that. The rest of us only get to heal when the shaman isn't enough, which luckily is the case on anything worth fighting.

None of the healing mechanisms should be superior by design. That lack of balance is why some classes are not desired at all. F.e. wards could be programmed so that they only trigger if the tank would otherwise die from the next hit, aka death protection. Would make clerics and especially druids much more viable.

I think Templars have enough desirability already, what with our massive health boosts and looking cool and whatnot, but you make a good point.
