Since then, he has parsed higher. Also, I said he parses 1400 on fights and 1k zw. Not 1k-1400 zw. He does an awesome job at healing on nameds when it comes down to it. I'll get him to post parses of his 1400 dps on fights (yes, semi-long fights, not 10 second encounters).

It's just like that one post Elrohn made somewhere where he had a screenshot of himself parsing 1900 on a fight in FTH. Parsing high as a templar is possible.

Also, Art is wrong in the fact that I use a legendary item. I use the Hammer of the Dragonborn which is fabled which I bought with my own money so I didn't waste DKP. I could easily parse close to what I parse now with the blackscale maul though.

Maybe this is something I should've asked in the "Who uses 2 Templars" thread so I'm sorry to derail.

Having a class which provides your offtank with 21% stoneskin (including blessings which give 3% from PoS) group proc buff, HP, mit, and awesome healing and divine recovery is worthy of a raid spot in my opinion. Then factor in the fact that this healer does 800-1500 DPS on most fights where offtank healing is minimal and there is no reason why you wouldn't take a 2nd templar.

The problem is that most templars are one diminesional. A good offtank templar knows when to DPS and when to heal.

No, My simple post was that you make it sound semi difficult to DPS with this class, when I could think of a handful of other classes that are utility that are much more difficult do DPS with this... As far as the 2 templars comment, go fuck yourself.. If you want a 15 minute dictation of why this and that go ask captain fucktard himself ( kendricke )...

If you would like a simple point of that even a fucking retarded monkey can put on yalup and put on a 2 hander and dps, then point made.

You asked, you got it... if you want to be specific, I can give you about 4 other classes who have I have leveled up to 70 that are much more difficult to acheieve DPS with rather than just a templar...

So again, to claifry... DPS is a templar is easy. Yalup ( which your foced to take ), a 2 hander ( nearly most will work ), and 100 % crits ( because most of the primary AA lines are junk ) And voila.. there.... Thats not that hard.

ok going to derail a sec. But how did you get 21% on stoneskin? I have it at M1 and the AA for it maxed and I only get 18% with Blessings and Luck of the Dirge.

ok back on topic. The other 2 templars in my guild usually do 800 - 1K DPS on fights where they don't have to heal, so yes the Templar can DPS. Personally I don't care for doing the DPS with my Temp, which is part of the reason I'm in the MT group, so the other 2 Temps can DPS their hearts out. I'll try and get some Shots of parses where they are DPSing.

I don't see a reason why you can't still put out 400 or so dps while in MT group. 2-3 healers from MT group putting that out is 1k+ dps for the raid. There's nothing your doing so important in MT group on most fights that makes it so you can't dps. If you tell me your spam healing and can't manage to get nukes out, your scouts need to suck less and debuff more.

Unfortunatly there's no really good way to put this without making my guild look bad, but I spend a lot more time throwing my spot heals than I really should, and not just on the MT/MT group. On occasion I can DPS but I usually only hit like 200 - 300 partially becuase I still use Godking for the proc, and yes it does actually help me.

In my guilds defense, we did just lose our MT and have had to replace him so we're not doing as well as we would like, but we'll get back up there.
