Re: Templar Power Management Thread
Just for fun, I have a macro that equips me head to toe with mana regen items. That includes Kultak's neck, Zarrakkon's belt, 2 manawell rings, 2 manawell wrists, 1 manawell head piece, 1 manawell shield, and 1 manawell chest (mystic aura). In this configuration, I can be drained down to 0 power and recover to 100% power during a fight. If I get completely drained, I simply hit a manastone and/or potion to regain just enough power to cast 1 group reactive, after which every additional heal (but most noticeably group reactives) results in a net mana "profit"--so that I can completely regen my own power back to 100%. But it only works if you're in a group.

Re: Templar Power Management Thread
you dont even need that many items. kultak+zarrakon+3 manawell items are enough to gain mana from chain healing
oh and going to add: you do NEVER EVER EVER EVER remove theh REH/gozak thingie from your head... EVER.

It's true. That's why this is just a "for fun" configuration to see how fast I can recover power. Also, our defiler is uber, and except for the hardest fights, I don't have much to heal. I help him pad his parse, it keeps him happy.

When the MT Defiler or MT Templar starts coming even CLOSE to me on the heal parse, I'll consider switching some gear out.

It takes us a LONG time to get anything figured out (I'm surprised I have the patience for it), but when we do, it's oh so satisfying. We'll get it someday.

Sorry to break the party, but wearing more power proc gear than necessary is silly and lazy. Stop being a git and swap out gear according to the fight's necessities. /slap

I was only wearing one piece of power proc gear. But I guess you're right in that I should swap in more. Jousting is not that hard, though!

Re: Templar Power Management Thread
jousting is mostly if not always inferior to wearing the gear necessary to stand and take whatever you would have to joust otherwise... ESPECIALLY since jousting breaks steadfast. you also might want any of your dirges to run the poison ward song.

I don't use Steadfast for Xebnok. And I have the joust perfected to where as soon as the green smoke appears, I step back. As soon as it hits, I step in. At most, half a second of time wasted. And in emergencies, I have Sacrifice and Divine Arbitration.

Usually that's a sign of coolant failure in a water-cooled computer.
(I do recommend you joust the smoke and flames that emerge.)
