This. Hell compared to 5% off the top its better period if your tank is avoiding worth a crap at all, which he should be with brawler and cleric lends on him.

Eh no reason not to now compared to how before this tier there were quite a few reasons not to; But yeah, can insert any fighter there instead, brawlers just work better.

I learned this trick from my good friend Iceblade on the Everfrost server! If for some reason you don't like Click-to-Cure, macro your Cure spell to your mousewheel! Then all you have to do is target someone and click the mousewheel!

I play pretty much all keyboard, I like using the fact that you can hotkey more then 3 hotbars now. I use the number pad for shit like cures.

i have

123
set up to target ppl in my group (in the same position as group window) then 789+- are various macros for cancel_spellcast + cure/heal/reactive

how do you cure other groups without mouse? thats the reason why I havent considered going full keyboard mode

and if i put cure on my mousewheel, i'd prolly zoom in and zoom out for 25s before I actually managed to click it O.o

You can macro specific people you are likely to need to cure, or just tap the mouse for whatever /shrug.

Ever since EQ1, I've arranged my primary hotbar into a 3x4 grid and mapped it to my numpad. That way my left hand could handle the F-keys separately. Either hand could do movement since WASD and arrow keys are next to either set.

As for group members, I have an old-style G15 with three banks of 3x2 G-keys. My group window is also arranged in a 3x2 grid so G7-12 cure a group member and G13-18 quick heal a group member.

You guys all have leet setups. I target people by clicking their names in the raid window and then clicking the buttons on the screen. I'm running the Zboard, so no extra buttons... but the window hotkeys are leet!
