Default Reverence

Did about as well as I thought it would last night, 2% of my heal parse consistently. Oddly enough, allied prayers was 2% as well, and reflexive blah blah blah from the T3 chest was the same. Everyone else seeing the same thing? I noticed in the patch notes they "Fixed some items who's procs were able to critical" or some such nonsense, thinking they meant the EDITED FOR YOU SAFETY but eh..cough.

we dont talk about *** anymore, would be good to remove that piece of yer post :P

as for reflexive, that thing used to be ~8% of my parse pretty constantly. 2% seems somehow strange

2% is normal for me on that reactive thing. Reverence only got me about 1% though. But I admit that I don't cast it like it's a worthwhile member of my spell list. I just attach it to my Repent button so I'm at least casting it. It's usually on the MT in this way maybe half the time it's available. Of course we run with a zerker most of the time and I bet adrenaline is good for Reverence.

I've only ever used it as a choker counter for chanters and sometimes applied to Berserkers thinking it would pick up the adrenaline power drain.

Who have you been applying it to in raids?

I personally placed it into my spell rotation (unless the tank is getting beat on then its not worth the time casting), so whoever I or the mob has targeted and whenever it is up, it's cast. 99% of the time it is cast on choker wearers or someone going in on say Levi or heading out to fight mobs on Thet, but I will cast it on almost anyone tbh, it is still quickspell button, 4?, in profit so it's super fast. I don't actually remember it procing anything but I will try it tonight.

Its like any other ability, you will not get the most of it if you just spam it on whoever. I always had a copy of the ability in a spell target macro to cast on someone specific, and an unmacro'd copy to cast on someone needing the help.

Which is exactly what I do, have it in rotation for pulls/pre-aoe's on the tank for faster recovery and then use profit to quick cast it on choker wearers or others heading into fights, also use it post-aoe's in case they have a weak healer, to help them heal up faster. All in all, both of our methods work, I am not stupid enough to cast it on someone with wards and reactives that will not expire before use, it does last for 30 seconds and generally the first few seconds of the fight are the worst (pre-debuffs et al) so the heals will be used on the tank. After that, goes on anyone below 100% health taking consistent minimal damage; ie choker hizoe's.

Tanks are not a good choice, excepting maybe a berserker while they have adrenaline going. Partly because their power consumption(amount of power used, not percentage of total) is not on the same level as DPS classes and partly because well, they're tanks, they're already the focus of the heals.

Just a quick FYI, I've seen it proc both hateshield (REH) and Holy Water Sprinkler (EMGs) so it's nice to keep in the rotation as an extra chance for a proc at least.
