Corporeal Darklight and Star of malice...
I finally got a Star of Malice a few days ago so now have a quandry as to what i should have in the secondary slot most of the time...
I guess the correct answer is "its situational" so...
Brace of Corporeal darklight for when i am MT healer and we are hitting hard mobs.....or mobs i have to stay ranged on.
and
Star of malice for all trash and easy Nameds i can melee ....
does that sound about right ?
Not used the Star enough yet to know how much it will proc and heal for when using my myth.
any thoughts ?
cheers

You're right, it is situational and those situations you listed are pretty much dead on.

Problem is, when you fight trash and easy named, you don't need the Star of Malice.

Re: Corporeal Darklight and Star of malice...
honestly, I only use star of malice in the flame room on varsoon fight when solohealing.
corporeal darklight is the first choice.

Star of malice earned a permanent slot in my appearance window only. It's just not worth trading off all of those good blocks from sheild in a raid.

It is only good if you dont need SA. And when you dont need SA? In a mage party, solo healing a weak party in a hard heroic zone and so on.
If you are MT or OT raiding templar you need SA always.

Especially in a magey group you can't usually melee since the mages are at max range, if they have any sense, and thus sometimes out of cure range.

Re: Corporeal Darklight and Star of malice...
What good is max range though? (Perhaps a question for the mages) Most AEs now usually say their last damage tier is like 15-900m. If they pull aggro by mistake, I don't think I would want to be 30m away to move the mob around that much.
