No. When mob has for example 2 MoC's on it, only the one cast first will have a chance to trigger. This is very easy to see if you have heals on separate window, only one templars MoC is proccing. The same goes to Involuntary, only the first has a chance to proc.

The best test I can think of would probably be to take two templars and go hammer out 10 mobs with only one casting spurn the lower of the two, parse the avg melle. Then cast both spurns, with the lower version casting first, on another 10 and see what happens. The difference betwen an Adept III with no AA's and Master I with full AA's is about 400? iirc, it goes from 975ish to about 1300. That might be enough of a difference to notice which one is taking effect. Problem might be keeping both spurns up and casting them in order throughout the test.

Spurn does stack but only the strongest version or the one applied first takes effect. So you don't benefit at all from having 2 spurns on a mob that debuff the same amount.

That sounds confusing depending on peoples definitions of 'Stack' In other words my 1200 mit debuff goes on over the top of the 2nd templars 1000 debuff but does not add up to a 2200 mit debuff.

It doesn't add. The mob would be debuffed by 1200 mit until that spurn wore off. If the other spurn was still on the mob when the first wore off he would then be debuffed by 1000. The debuffs stack but their effects don't meaning you can have 2 spurns on a mob but only one will affect it.

Thats really odd cos ive seen parses with both templars having an insane number of crits. i always thaught they were from CoS and IC hitting a lot of people when they procced and crit.

im still unsure about spurn. liviee, why don't we get together this weekend for an hour or so and just flat out test some of this stuff?

No 2 buffs or debuffs of the same name from the same class stack. Not templar's, not mystics, not zerkers...none. If those debuffs have a damage component, that part always lands. But not the debuff - the higher level one will take precedence.

And if you are really looking for a way to test this....go to the arena and both of you debuff someone, let them tell you if their stats change with the second debuff.

Or just ask your brigs why they try and dispatch sequentially instead of concurrently :p
