I use Focused Intercession when its up and needed and I have everthing else in, and you can cast your manastone, hearts and shards while being stunned.
|
Manastone while stunned - yes
Heart and sahrd - nope.

Re: Templar Guide
To each their own, I don't need more hp's, we wear plate.. and I have about 9k hp's when in a raid group..
DPS and power is what you need.
I'm a templar, not a tank.

Re: Templar Guide
Plate has nothing to do with how much HP you have lol.
+14STR let me see... Yep I melee all Avatars, Contested Mayong, etc...
+14STA or 100 raw HP... Hard decision... Not.
Why exactly do we need DPS, I am a healer, not DPS?
And if power is really that much of an issue for you, try getting your guild to down some Avatars and Contested Mayong and get the Presence of Mind items.
Perhaps it is you who needs to do your research?

Re: Templar Guide
Once again..

Introduction and Disclaimer:
I saw no one had done a Templar Guide, so I figured I would write one up and see how it looked. I used the only other guide in this forum as a layout, the dirge one, So thanks to the guy that made that.
I have been a templar for over a year, and before that I was an Inquisitor for about 6 months. I don't claim to know everything about the class, although after this long, I have my way of doing things that I think are correct. My opinion is my own and I am welcome to people's input. I have taken some of these things from other places to add to my own feelings and so on and so forth.
|
We can agree to disagree. I melee and I do DPS. Hence why I like being the second templar in the raid. I stated this numerous times.
Your desire to be correct and argue is kind of tiresome..
I had a disclaimer for a reason, this is the way *I* do my job and so do many others. I never said it was the correct way, nor did I call you retarded for putting 100 HPS on your shoulders instead of a stat that will help the dps you are lacking..
And power is *not* an issue for me at all, never has been.. because I know my class and what I need in my specific raid.
Is there something else you want to comment on?
I suggest when you have an opinion.. you should probably say.. hey.. thats not how I do my templar but this is another option.. instead of hurling insults at people that are trying to help others. =)
Do I think your way of doing things is wrong? Nope, its just not my way.. Some templars try to get more out of their class than just healing.
Agree to disagree.

Re: Templar Guide
I'm using the Legendary Scintillating Consecrated Clasp (+10 ministration, +10 ordination) on my neck slot (MoA), rather than the +healing bonus. Gives a ~2% decrease in power cost to heals and my debuffs feel like they are being resisted a little less.

It is not my desire to be correct. You just remind me of a certain... Kendricke.
I am not lacking in DPS also, I can and do regularly parse a good 1000+ from the main tank group if no healing is needed. I've seen numbers around 1800-1900 on 3rd floor EH trash. +14STR adds little.
