Templar RoK Epic weapon ideas
Hey all, since Archonix mentioned it would be helpful if each classes forums had a sticky'ed thread about what we'd like in our RoK Epic weapon, I figured I'd make one because we didn't have one. So anyways, list ideas about what we'd want.

Here's some things I can come up with:
- For damage, have a high delay and big damage spread, as most templars are spec'd for crit hits.
- A proc from beneficial spells that is at least as good as pris 2.0 sceptor.
- A power proc would be nice (would prefer that over flowing thought), though would have to make sure it's not on spells only, as some templars are spec'd to turn their nukes into ca's.
- A + to heals effect is nice, though we don't benefit as much as shaman do by that bonus.
- An effect that would make our reactives better would be good, like the 3 piece templar fabled set gear increases the number of reactive ticks our single target reactive has, maybe the RoK epic weapon could have an effect that adds one or two additional reactive ticks to each of our reactive heal spells. This would be especially useful, as if they continue the upgrading spells every 14 levels routine, neither of our main reactives will get upgraded.
- Since we're normally in the MT group in raids, maybe give it a group buff that benefits a tank while the weapon is equipped (like, when equipped, this item increases hp of all group members, or something good for our tank)
- + to Focus is nice, much better than + to ministration that the SoD hammer gives. Interupts are a big pain when solo'ing as templar, as we have very little avoidance.
- On that note, maybe make an effect of, when equipped, caster is immune to interupts (/drool)
Feel free to add any other thoughts, lets see if we can come up with some creative new effects that would be beneficial to templars in specific

I would like to see a nice buckler that gave bonuses to reactives, bigger, not more.
Or a shield that gave a holy aura like ability that oculd be cast like every 15 minutes or so on somebody, that'd be nifty.
If we were to look at changing the eq1 epic for cleric then It owuldn't be that hard to make the item have a Ranged 100% rez with no effects. And it would still be balance if they used the same cast/casting/reuse timers as Ressurect spell.
As for power procs or Flowing thought what about the ability to add a power generating reactive of sorts. Like "when one of the templar's reactives are triggered X% of power is returned to the templar" and X could be the ammount of triggers on the reactive spell / total power of the spell. That would help templar power tremendously. I know some of you might argue that templars don't need it if they are gear corectly, but there are a very small number of templars that couldn't benefit from an effect like this.

A few things about the templar epic from eq1 that it had over everything
A) yes, the click rez.. ( which is useless in Eq2 )
B) Stats that couldnt be argued with.
So... with that in mind, if they are trying to go after epics the 1st thing that they need to put into play is this...
IF you are going to make it a 1 hander ( Presuming ), think that half of your templar population is not utilizing a 1 hander / shield set up. For most raiding ( Sorry if Im discluding here , but I heard it was tiered ) are utilizing grwoth staff. You will have to incorporate a shield along with the 1 hander that offers some pretty amazing idea's, or have it able to be morphable ( Dunno if thats a word ) bewtween a 2 hander and 1 hander. This will need to be simply put that if you make a great 1 hander, you will have to make a great buckler because I cant name one thats been priest friendly in a long time thats even half way advantageous.
So with that being said. Here are some effect idea's
-Increase Healing up to 100
-Increase Galantry Line base value 15 % to Hps and 10 % to Mit.
-Increase Glory of Comat heal effect by 20 %.
-Usable Click effect. Your next spell will increase stats by 20 %.
* Example. Reoubt is 964 HPs, and 13.9 to meelee skills. If you could click the weapons and then buff the next buff would yield more ( 1156 and 16.68 perspectively ). Or Glory of battle that heals for 622. That in effect would yield a buff that would proc on the same %, but heal 764.
Thoose are just a few off the top of my head. TBH, if its going to be a epic line Im glad they are asking for feedback rather than slapping some FT on it and saying here ya go. IF you want us to play healers, give us additional items to help us heal more effectively with mana. Dont over power us.

Why would you want up to healing taking up your items point allotment over something that is actually productive.

Up to as in increase. You start stacking thoose items, and they do become something to be reconed with. Did I say 1 item of the below. No I didnt.
Thanks for being a fucking idiot. I recommend reading , and then re-reading, then putting words into complete sentences. Then go sit down and think for a bit. I hear that it helps when trying to comprehend shit that is out of your class =)

If you don't have anything productive to add please don't hash others ideas. This thread is designed to let players express what they would like to see their classes epic weapon to look like.
If you don't actively play templar please refrain from making judgements on what you think our epic should be. Take those judgements to your own class section.

I am simply asking a question about why you would want to waste item allotment points on +100 to healing. You should probably read what I posted before calling me a moron, I never said it would be the only affect I asked why you would want +100 healing.
