Lets actually use this board

Ok, this board is providing us a place to discuss things without much moderation. I see that as a good thing. I think what a lot of the problem people have with the Test Server is that it is, by in large, closed off from the general public. We have our own private forums, our own server page and even our own Vent server. Granted the last two are privately run, (thanks Kwoung btw) but they are specifically for the Test Server. Add to that the fact that Test is the only server that you can't transfer to & off of and you have a problem brewing.

I believe that Test and the entire community as a whole would benefit from a more open atmosphere. So here is what I propose. I'll do what I can to get people to start posting more here. No promises, I'll do what I can. Live server players feel free to come and ask what you will. Concerns, questions, comments, whatever...

I'm not so naive as to believe we won't get our share of baiting and flames, this is afterall eq2flames, but I really do think this will be a good thing if approached correctly.

I'll start things off in the next thread.

Since I've found my way to the neutral curb, a neutral place to discuss anything interesting is fine with me. I've been wondering if Test folks were all going to stick to their country clubs and level in private when Kunark hits or if some free groups would happen.

I think I know the answer - but I think I've been kicked by everyone now, so I'm not biased who I play with anymore and don't care so much about the past. Sometimes I learn the hard way but I eventually learn - I hope

Yeah - when I posted earlier above I was unaware of their Spaceballs Escape Pod maneuver.

I feel foolish for trying to play nice in hindsight - but at least I made the attempt. I'm just glad the "story" finally saw the light of day and people understand the weirdness that was happening on Test Vegas.

I don't blame the Live players one bit if they of Test as a bad joke - the ones who didn't already think so anyway.

So far, it doesn't look like the old UT will return to Test - but Card Subject to Change (tm)
